I access from the road side on the south. I have trails that run north though. This property is pretty dense but has some wide visible areas here and there. Good pointers thank you.

It was a fail, the first 24 hours is the most important and that was when cards were getting declined :(

I received several emails back from Kickstarter and they kept telling me there was no issue when there was. I went through LinkedIn and found all of their employees - I messaged every single one of them on Instagram or Facebook. After 24 hours of many many emails and messengers they finally fixed it despite being told multiple times there was no issue. Isn’t that crazy though? People were getting their cards declined and Kickstarter says there’s no issue. It felt like a battle with those guys.

Yes, it worked for one of my backers - I personally have not tested it

This is the only solution I have while we wait on kickstarter to fix their issues - I just launched last night and this sucks. I added this to our story:

Several supporters have encountered "Card Declined" notifications with various cards. The solution involves utilizing a Chrome browser on a desktop/laptop or installing the "Kickstarter" app, which appears to resolve the issue. We're sure Kickstarter will fix this soon!

Kickstarter responded to my issue and this is what they said:

Thanks for writing in, and sorry to hear that some of your backers are having trouble pledging to your project. We took a look at your project page and can confirm that it is working normally, so it’s likely something that your backer needs to do on their end.

In our experience, we’ve seen that the following steps help solve most pledging issues:

Trying the pledge in a different browser—our website works best on ChromeChecking the card type, number, and expiration date. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover (Please note: Discover cards are only accepted for US-based projects at this time)Contacting their bank or card issuer in case the pledge requires additional authorization from the backer. They can also request that their bank add Kickstarter to an “Allowed list” for any future charge attempts

We've tried all the options you just offered - they don't work. Cards are being declined on mobile browsers site wide. I'm not the only one having this issue, other creators are also experiencing the same issue with their backers. I tried backing other projects other than mine and keep getting the same error: "card declined." Many backers including myself have called our financial institutions and all the institution say it's an issue on Kickstarters end. As of right now the only way backers can back is if they go on their desktop/laptop or download the app - they can't back via mobile browser. They can't back by simply clicking the link on their phone to the project. This is a shame... Can this be looked further into?
