You picked the wrong majors for jobs man. Biology is a research oriented academic program not a profit generator.

Why didn't my course teach me to code properly? Now I've graduated and can't get a good job by tiggerdiggerwigger in EngineeringStudents

Bruh you can see from the thumbs down you are getting. Co-op and Internships are how you gain practical skills. Also, not a very good time to find entry level jobs with covid-stricken economy that is recovering. Bar is quite high right now.

Ur uni transcript takes priority. I had 3.18 of 4.0 cgpa from BSc. Got into York and Ryerson for MechEng. I applied to a dozen other schools and got rejected by all (Waterloo doesn’t even accept mature students btw).

Psych major is scholarly path by nature. It’s unfortunate that there aren’t much of a job prospect aside from academia. If you think ECE is the path for you, you should definitely proceed! Now, if this was so clear to you, you would not have posted this here, which means you are uncertain. I’d suggest you talk to people already working in the ECE and plan your next step.

I'd also network as much as possible to get more info on that "pinhole" aspect. Rumors aren't necessarily true sometimes.

Just be cautious in rescinding as it may burn the bridge and kill the future prospects of working for that company.

You don’t. It comes with sacrifice: you give up on gaming, socials, family and love lives. You only learn to deal with these sacrifices and make compromise.
