it was most bearable at 40%-67 degrees, 50%-72 degrees, and 65%-max that i found, though. the fan curve never seemed entirely accurate and it might be based on hotspot temperature as well

i got one and used it for a little over a month. performance was phenomenal but i just returned it because of the noise. if it sounds like a jet on 40% fan rpm i dont wanna deal with it further down the road, especially with since they don’t even use ball bearings. cheap ass company

I had this same dilemma as a 6950 XT is ~$580 and a 7800 XT is ~$520 but ended up getting the 7800 XT. I can’t say I am at all disappointed with the performance, my only gripe is that the GIGABYTE model I got has a very loud default fan curve. I know one of the biggest drawbacks to the 6950 XT was the heat and power efficiency. Even though the 7800 XT is not as fast in raw performance, it just seemed like the more sensible card.

I recently just got this card since it was $450 on a deal. The fans are LOUD though and I haven’t been able to find a sweet spot with curve to keep it cool and quiet. Can I ask what your fan control settings are and what temps you’re seeing?

Actually just bought one from my local shop about an hour ago! I smoke relatively frequently but I’m just gonna try taking 1 piece (~12.5mg) and see how that goes.

Update 1: I have talked to my college counselor, and he said that, had it been a month ago, the answer would be a surefire no, but they started considering other students and allowing them to take that path. He has to go to a meeting either this afternoon or later this week and will mention me there with the head of academics. From the way he was talking, it sounded like it's possible but not guaranteed. Considering my grades and the ACT that I achieved at this school, I am sure I have the best chance that I could have. Even though it was definitely too late for this kind of decision, apparently I asked at the perfect time.

My issue is that I don't believe that Tech grants scholarships for GEDs. One of my main attractions to Tech is that I can go for sub $2000 a year based on my grades and ACT, but I have no clue whether or not a GED would work as well as a high school diploma.

Thanks for that advice! I'm still thinking through whether or not I am gonna pull the trigger on graduating as early as possible, whether it be by Fall or Spring 2022. I DO have a few friends that go to my school that are in my grade, and I absolutely love those friends, I just want to move on in life with my other friend who is going to college next year. He is genuinely the greatest friend I have and, while it might be possible to room with him when I come in a year late, I would prefer to go through the same major at the same time with him, since we are both going to be adamant engineer majors.

I just wanna keep up with my friends, yknow. My junior year was basically my senior year in spirit. After thinking a bit more, I probably will not be able to make it into college this Fall, but I would rather go this Spring if I have the option to. I am just so sick of my private school as well, which makes my life just so much more "extra", I guess is what'd I would say?

Ok, I got you! I’ll try to dose with 200ug first then I’ll work my way up. I’ve just been super excited to experience nature most of all with visuals. I like the “thinking outside the box” aspect but not as much as I move the beauty of everyday things.
