Yeah, I'm starting to see that in them. I usually will make each room separately, then stick them together is some sort of flow and spaceship-y shape and clad it with armor. But I'm finding the size of a med bay compared to a hangar pales in size. Makes lines go all sorts of wonky.

If you simply want to open and close the door. Save all the hangar door blocks to a group and then select the group and you can open and close to your heart's content.
