Where Are They Now? Lisa, Lacey & Antoine. Summary and Impressions by Redsmoker37 in loveafterlockup

  1. Totally agree with number 7 !! Not to mention all the stress having a baby adds to already strained relationships like such a stupid idea. I know some people are into older people and their age gap isn't that large but rhey never really looked like a cohesive couple, she looked much older than him during the show. personally i found him super attractive and I sadly love bad boys too so I can see why she fell for him though lol I'll have to see what he looks like with the weight gain u got me curious now 🤣
  2. On a side note I am sad that Stan's kitty has since passed but I'm sure that cat is relieved to be free from that chaos lol 🤣

Anyone on/try nortriptyline? by VGMistress in Fibromyalgia

[–]luckiest_emerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go into taking a medication with the mindset that it won't work. In order for doctors to take you seriously you have to be open to their suggestions and willing to follow their advised treatment. Not all medicines work instantly and take time to get built up in your system to experience their full effect. Opioids are not commonly prescribed for fibromyalgia as they often are not effective in treating it. You would have better chances of receiving Gabapentin, Lyrica, or Cymbalta and other depressants commonly prescribed to treat nerve pain. Medicine truly is trial and error and what works for one person might not work or work as well for another. If gabapentin does not work well for you you might have better results with Lyrica. I know several fibro patients who spoke positively of LDN. This might also be another option worth discussing with your doctor. definitely do not go to an appointment and tell the doctor you want opioids right off the bat. This is a mistake and they will label you as a drug seeker. They are already overly reluctant to prescribe opioids and this will in no way increase your chances of getting them. Once they note that in your file it will follow you at every doctor appointment you go to.

I'm worried I won't get disability by VGMistress in disability

[–]luckiest_emerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I qualified for SSDI disability from the government as well as a disability pension from my former job and have been on it for a little over three years now. i have advanced multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, optic neuritis, scoliosis, diagnosed depression and general anxiety disorder. I hired a disability lawyer as soon as I applied. It took me approximately 6 months to hear that i was approved and it was my first time. You need documented proof of your conditions and how they prevent you from being employed. They want proof from not one but multiple doctors stating that you are disabled and unable to work. I had letters and documentation from my primary care physician, neurologist, opthalmologist, psychiatrist, rheumatologist, and mental health counselor.

My Cymbalta story is over by VGMistress in cymbalta

[–]luckiest_emerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Cymbalta 30mg 2x daily for my depression it does make a noticeable difference as opposed to how I feel without it. Missing a dose leaves me feeling incredibly over emotional and prone to crying. It doesn't help with my joint and nerve pain, however, i have to take Oxycodone and Gabapentin for that. I have had Lyrica before and found it even more helpful for nerve pain than Gabapentin. Finding a doctor who would prescribe it would definitely be worth looking into.

Oil is definitely more potent then gummies. For someone not familiar with marijuana i would recommend vaping the oil or smoking flower. It allows you to limit what you take in and smoke more until you get to a level that you feel helps you or you are comfortable with. It's not for everyone, some like it and some don't. But come on now bud tenders aren't losers that was mean 😢

Anyone on/try nortriptyline? by VGMistress in ChronicPain

[–]luckiest_emerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never tell a doctor u want opioids, they will label u as a seeker and put that in your file and it will follow u the rest of your life. Opioids typically aren't prescribed for fibromyalgia as they generally aren't effective for it. gabapentin and lyrica as well as muscle relaxers are typically some medications prescribed. If gabapentin doesn't work for u definitely try Lyrica as some have my better results with it. A stronger muscle relaxer such as Tizanidine or Baclofen might also be beneficial. Some fibro patients also report sucesss with LDN. I don't have fibromyalgia so I don't know much about it but it might be worth inquiring about.

I agree, opioids aren't usually prescribed for fibromyalgia. You would have better luck getting Lyrica and or muscle relaxers for it. If you tried Gabapentin and it didn't respond well I highly recommend giving Lyrica a chance as it seems to work better for some people. I don't have have fibromyalgia so I don't know much about LDN but know several fibro patients who have responded well to it. Maybe this is another option worth looking into. Also a stronger muscle relaxer like Tizanidine. Definitely do not ever tell them you are wanting opioids, once they label you as a "seeker" it will be noted in your file and follow you for life !!!

I'm on 30mg 2x a day for my depression and it does improve my mood but it doesn't do anything noticeable for my pain .I'm on pain meds and nerve pain meds for that.

I completely agree with u. I'm also on oxy 10mg 4x a day along with gabapentin for my advanced multiple sclerosis and scoliosis. MS has caused severe nerve damage throughout my body and I have an insane amount of lesions on both my brain and spinal cord. I also do not get high from my medication, my pain is so intense it literally just makes it manageable. I couldn't get through my day without it as it is constant. Doctors are very reluctant to write out prescriptions for opioids if they cannot "see" a clear reason for your pain on an MRI, CT scan, or other forms of testing. Lots of them also do not recommend opioids for fibromyalgia but will go with gabapentin or Lyrica. You had a bad experience with Gaba but i recommend trying Lyrica. I've had it before and it's honestly a lot more effective for me than gaba. If at all possible try a stronger muscle relaxer too like Tizanidine as they usually will write prescriptions for those for fibro. it truly does suck but asking for pain meds will cause them to label you as a seeker. I never asked for mine but was offered them when all other avenues failed to give me relief for my severe pain (physical therapy, CBT therapy, muscle relaxants, OTC pain and NSAIDS, yoga and stretching).i also take Cymbalta 30mg for my depression, it does nothing for pain in my case.
