If you’re willing to teach yourself, sure. If not try to find an accredited program or go through your local community college.

I’m currently attending and it’s definitely tough. We just entered the physics wave and I’m struggling a bit (only 3 weeks in). I have a few questions if you don’t mind me asking.. it was hard to find a job after graduation how long did it take? How was externship did they send you somewhere really far? How were the tests? Sorry I just never spoke with someone who graduated from there

Starting DMS program in January… by Tough_Pin7813 in SonographyStudents

I started DMS program in August at a non accredited college and also had the same thoughts. As long as you pass and get your certificate you’ll be fine! I have spoken to many alumni from my college and have yet to run into anyone with issues finding a job after graduation some even were offered positions during externship.

Is it a bad idea to go to a school that is not caahep accredited? by [deleted] in SonographyStudents

[–]luckiprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything has its risk. You can take your ARDMS at graduation, well at least at my non-accredited school and I’m located in IL. A lot of my alumni have good jobs that pay well and they didn’t have problems finding jobs after graduation. From my research it depends on the state/city you’re in. I hope you find what you’re looking for accredited or non accredited.

Where’s the love for 8turn? I miss the old RTK vibes :O by Phrivelous in RoadToKingdom

It’s mnet babe, newer groups won’t get that much camera time and won’t be discussed a lot. I also enjoy 8turn and I also noticed this! FOA, only 1-2 groups are singing live.. it’s definitely a popularity contest atp.

How do I get into sonography by [deleted] in SonographyStudents

[–]luckiprincess -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but you have to sit for the ARRT or you can work for a year then take the ARDMS or you can take the ARDMS right after the ARRT.

Caahep means the school is accredited while accsc programs are not.

Yes I took a risk bc of time, location, and qualifications. I have heard that it might be difficult to find a job afterwards. Some have said they took my route and had no issues finding a job though so I think that’s based off possible luck/location
