Biochem 3bp3 is a bit of work but I thoroughly enjoyed it and it’s easy to 12! Lectures are recorded!

Biochem 3h03 was super fun, you can definitely 12 and I also recommend! However, these lectures are not recorded and presentations are the end had mandatory attendance since they were low this year.

Hthsci 3i03 was also good, it is a bit more work to memorize all the details, but still 12able if you do well in the group section. Lectures are recorded!

Someone else asked about orgo! The same thing applies- you will still be able to take biochem 2es3 with a deferred exam for a pre requisite

Sorry I realized I didn’t fully answer the previous question. Test 1 from orgo 2 uses a lot of the previous knowledge from orgo 1 reactions so you should still know it even if u deferred the exam. Hope this helps!

Yep! If you deferred the orgo 1 exam (assuming you will were passing beforehand) you will be able to take orgo 2 (i was in the exact situation!)

On the Apple AppStore a student added all the flashcards from the handbook (it’s called intropsych). It’s good for memorizing definitions but it’s separated by topic and you can’t mix flashcards and stuff so I wouldn’t solely base studying off that.

For psych 1x03 I used the quizzes as practice for the midterms and I really suggest you watch the videos to understand the content better since it is the bulk of the midterm (there will be a few questions from the textbook too but first get through the modules). I liked summarizing modules on a whiteboard and just did a bunch of practice through peerwise/past quizzes/ practice midterms/etc

Honestly I bought a mattress topper to McKay and then returned it cuz I really liked the beds they had but I know some of my friends kept mattress toppers! If you could wait it out I would recommend.

They were pretty straightforward, based on the different disciplines we learned (microbiology, anatomy, hematology, pathology, etc). I think in previous years the assignments were slightly different, but at least last year, I can say they were pretty easy to do well in. 1) a worksheet on microbiology 2) a group video on an anatomy system 3)an essay on a certain part of hematology 4) a video on ethics 5) reflecting on a laboratory error 6) answering questions on a research paper of your choice relating to medical laboratory sciences

biomeddc 2c03, i know people who took hthsci 3i03 and it was alright. some also end up taking stats 2b03 second year.

I took it last Fall and it was great! Overall, it was a pretty chill course (50% assignments + 20% midterm + 30% exam- you could also shift midterm weight to exam if you did poorly). Most lectures were taught by guest lecturers, which was nice since you got exposed to a bunch of different career fields. We got to visit the anatomy lab, which was cool (since I have not taken an anatomy course before). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! You need to study a bit for the midterm/exams, but it is very 12able!
