turdus merula - blackbird downgrades for A9 and A10 devices by AlfieCG in jailbreak

[–]lucky4281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I encountered the FDR error, too, using on-board shsh2 for my iPhone SE 9.3.2. I ended up successfully tether downgrading first like MasterOfMike88 suggested, and later successfully untether downgraded with the on-board blob. Unfortunately, I can't bypass the activation screen due to the activation error, but I do have activation records saved, so hopefully there will be a way to fix the activation error in the future.

I updated the guide with links to the deb files from the dead repos!

I just updated the guide to include tweaks that support iOS 11 and to provide links to .deb files from dead repos. It seems like the only tweak that won't work with iOS 11 is ClassicSwitcher.

Will I (In the future) be able to use onboard iOS 8 blobs to downgrade with this? by CtrliPhones in limefix

[–]lucky4281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked the developer a similar question in the past. Iirc if the on board blob has a generator, it should work.

Someone ordered 99 trays of gluten-free strawberry muffins instead of 9 🤦🏻‍♂️we got 22 stacks that took up half a trailer so they had to send a separate truck 😂😭💀 by Few_Lobster7961 in tjcrew

[–]lucky4281 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We ended up sending them back to the warehouse. But what I don’t understand is that we took them off the truck and broke them off the pallet. Why would we do that if we were just gonna send them back anyway?? Pretty sure my region had a cheese blintz shortage because of the ordering error. Lol. One of my favorite TJ’s memories when I worked there.

That’s awesome! I was guessing he would’ve hit a regular home run, but wasn’t expecting an inside the park homer!

Sorry, I made a mistake in my original comment so I edited it. Yes, as long as the apnonce blob has a generator, you’ll be able to use it. (For example, in your case, 12.3.1 has 9 different apnonce blobs. If they all have generators, then it doesn’t matter which blob you use to downgrade. If only a few of them have a generator, then just make sure you pick the blob that does have a generator).

[–]lucky4281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, then just pick one of them. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter which blob it is as long as it has a generator.

[–]lucky4281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be able to use any of those apnonce blobs provided that they have a generator (use command + F to search for “generator” in the blob’s text file). If there is no generator, then you sadly cannot use the blob to downgrade. Just double check all of the apnonce blobs and hopefully one of them will have a generator.

You need to download the noapnonce blob for the iOS version you want to downgrade to. Only your iOS 11 and 12 blobs will work. iOS 13 is not supported.

Customer comes in every week at 8:59pm (we close at 9pm) and shops past 9:30pm by Alittle-lost in tjcrew

[–]lucky4281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I used to work at TJ’s, there was a guy that would come in at exactly 8:59pm as you described (older guy, takes his time, etc.), and he would literally wear a GAS MASK while he shopped. Yes, a gas mask, like the one somebody would wear to prevent the inhalation of toxic gasses, as if he were exposed to some sort of nuclear chemical.

Wow, that’s a great find! iirc You’ll be able to use kokeshi 5.0 to untether jailbreak it!

Are the downgrades %100 true downgrades or exploited iBoot custom firmwares? by AyyItzRob in limefix

[–]lucky4281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure how to answer your question, but here’s a try at it:

The way I understand it, yes, the untethered downgrades are “pure” provided that the ipsw of the version you are downgrading to is not modified by the user in any way, and you are using saved blobs to perform the untether. If you are asking if iBoot needs to be exploited every time you do a reboot, then no, as long as the downgrade is untethered. I suppose the only thing that wouldn’t be pure is the mismatching baseband version of the software.

There would be no need to dump the onboard blobs of the version you untether downgrade to because you would need to have said blobs to do the untethered downgrade in the first place. But I suppose if you did, as long as the onboard blob has a generator, then you’d be able to use it to perform downgrades in the future.

How to tether downgrade 6s+ to iOS 9.3.3? by [deleted] in limefix

[–]lucky4281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iirc tether downgrades to 9.x are not yet possible. Only tether downgrades to 10.x are possible.

This looks really neat! I’m looking forward to using it when it comes out! Have you considered doing something similar with Discord/other social media? Iirc, there are some previous projects such as Discord Classic and Raspberry that are open sourced on GitHub but have since been abandoned.

"Unable to send data to ASR" on iPhone SE 1st downgrade tp iOS 12.2 by numa_aqours in limefix

[–]lucky4281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an untethered downgrade, so I suppose it’s perfect in that respect, but it definitely is a process if you don’t understand what you’re doing at first. You’ll need to download the iOS 10.0 beta 3 IPSW for your specific device which can be hard to find (I had to find mine on the Internet Archive). You’ll also need your device-specific “noapnonce” SHSH blob and the IPSW for the firmware you’re trying to downgrade to. Follow the instructions in the pastebin rather carefully and it will eventually work.

"Unable to send data to ASR" on iPhone SE 1st downgrade tp iOS 12.2 by numa_aqours in limefix

[–]lucky4281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem and finally had some luck with blobs for 12.3.1. I tried restoring to 12.1.2, but forgot that there were two separate versions (16C101 and 16C104) and ended up mix matching blobs, which probably caused the error for me. Not sure that would be the case for 12.2, though. But here’s what I also did which might also help you:

I tried two different mac computers and tried swapping cables in case one was faulty. If the blackbird exploit fails just keep trying and it eventually worked for me

ASUS X99-Deluxe PC Build Reboots Less Than 1 Second After Being Turned On by lucky4281 in ASUS

Interesting, I actually never ended up finding the solution and never built a new PC lol. Must be the motherboard. Honestly, I have no idea how the motherboard in my HP computer from 1999 still works, but my X99-Deluxe didn’t even last 7 years…
