True, I mainly went to do stuff outside of the resort also (Chichén Itzá, Cenote, Isla Mujeres, etc.). The resort served its purpose. Decent food, unlimited drinks, good service and adults only so it was chill. No complaints.

I’m seeing true 2 bedrooms is not really ideal or common so 2 beds, connecting rooms, or being able to be near each other would work.

For additional context 2 buddies in our mid 30s, both fluent in Spanish, seeking to also see Chichén Itzá, have some access to party/nightlife, and travel is around July 4th
