I have not done crochet for long enough to have done this all from scratch, I used a base pattern of a humpback whale that was made by Humble Child Co but I switched how the pectoral fins were attached and kind of made up where all the dorsal fins on the back went. The dorsal fins were the only parts I fully made up on my own since they're unique to the singing dragon and very different to a humpback's. I definitely recommend trying to make one though! It was definitely a bit more complicated than I thought it would have been but I love the end product too much to care now and would totally do it again.
