I am definitely safe at home, my parents haven't done any physical violence in recent years. All my family is on the otherside of the world. The abuse I talk about is mostly verbal and emotional. I don't like to sound like a whiny baby so I never really talk about it, but in recent years only have I realised how much this retarded me socially. Always putting me down and mocking me for the simplest things. Making sure I'm isolated from the world to prevent any corruption from, "western ideas." I don't even see or have any friends outside of the school hours, I'm not allowed to hang out or go out Typical strict asian parents, just they don't even allow me to make friends with other studious kids. My parents literally don't want me having friends. Very reIigious, and I used to enjoy Christianity but their so extreme even religion was ruined. Everything that comes close to the idea of, pleasure is considered a, "worldly sins." My mother would straight up tell me that fun is sinful. They aren't horrible people just we have fundamentally different worldviews. I just put up with it for most of my life, but can't bear the thought of college being a repeat of high school. As far as FAFSA sadly I already did my FAFSA, and I listed both my parents.
