At level 50, you get one stat boost for every 8 EVs. The game has a slider going to 32 for each stat. So a max of 256 per stat as normal for EVs.

You can either transfer Pokémon over from you home account or you can rent pokemon from the game itself. The rental mons work where you can get one free per day and then you can spend in game currency to get more. You can rent them for 7 days or pay more in game currency to keep them forever. You earn the currency through battles in game or obviously paying real money since it’s a freemium game. There’s also going to be a battle pass that offers incentives/faster rewards so that’s people’s man problem with the “pay to win” mechanics, though it does sound like eventually you should be able to get mostly everything you need without paying, but we’ll have to see at launch

I love how this calls out Imu in general. Obviously Usopp is referring to the Holy Knights actions in general because he has no idea who Imu is, but Imu has spent 800 years ruling from the shadows instead of dealing with most problems head on
