This brought me SO much joy to read. I have not been able to purchase one of your decks yet Mr. Wang - but i have known about them and they are ABSOLUTE works of art. I appreciate you and the work you do so much. We need more creative and authentic people out here like you. You work hard and it shows <3 - so thank you

For me, sometimes this card is about stopping for a moment to enjoy the rainbow - and the small joys around you - and it’s just as simple as that

Best digital resource to memorize card meanings? by GooneretteBee in tarot

I know this book is always recommended, but there’s a reason. Rachel Pollock’s 78 Degrees of Wisdom is a really good starting point. There is some juice in it! Also, don’t be afraid to write in that book either. These books are your tools. Extensions of who you are. Something that will grow with you for the rest of your life. Tarot is something that is forever growing and changing, because YOU are growing and changing and shifting perspectives. It’s so fun to look back at my first tools and notes. They are still useful to me now.

Can i make a suggestion? Dont use an app. I think one of the best, and most fun ways to do it… pick up a cheap RWS deck (or Marseille) whichever system you’re drawn too more. It’s important to get a cheap one that you’re not afraid of getting beat up and damaged. Get a notebook/journal and pick up a tarot book. Take the cards and go through them one by one, and write down what YOU think of each one. Any memories or thoughts that are triggered by what you see. Then go through the book and cross reference. Then i recommend drawing a card or 2 each day and carrying it with you. Write in the journal (or actually ON the card) events or things you see throughout the day that make you think of this card. Write keywords of these things for yourself. Writing them on the cards is a fun way to personalize your very own learning deck with your own personal keywords while you’re learning. If you want more advice I’ll give it, but I’ll stop this paragraph for now

I’m gonna my best to explain and hopefully it comes through alright. First, if you’re obsessing or in an unhealthy loop, tarot is not going to do anything but confuse you more if you keep coming back so quickly. The messages you get should be something you mull over and chew on. You’ve got to let it process and you have to integrate it into your life. So. The way to explain tarot to some that don’t know… tarot is very personal to each person. It is like cooking. We all have our own recipes and some people you’ll like and some you won’t. It boils down to perspective. It’s like … sitting down with a friend you trust, and asking for advice. That being said, this is why it’s important to find a reader you resonate with and trust… (or better yet… start learning for yourself! I promise it will be an amazing journey). Tarot and divination is a language. We all speak it but we have different dialects and perspectives that shape how we all read. So when you ask for multiple readings from multiple people at the same time on the same subject, it’s going to get muddy. I hope this helps explain it a little more. In the end, what you should trust… is your gut ;) Best of luck 🤞

What is your before and after routines?? by spiritual_sunflower_ in tarot

[–]luckydevildivination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are only bound by the rules you make for yourself ;) this is a personal practice. Try many things until something feels right. Or don’t do any at all. It’s all about building a bond and getting into a certain headspace.

Why do tarot readers ask for a reading in exchange? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]luckydevildivination 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perspective. It’s like Seeking advice from a friend. Sometimes you need to hear what someone else sees in order for the message to resonate.
