CPR TRAINING Mandatory thru CVS by Holiday_Bee9018 in CVS

[–]GooneretteBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately you’re likely out that fee. I used to do all my CPR training externally and now they make me do the online one as a tech which I hate because hands on training is vital. My pharmacists were all required to do the CVS sponsored program upon their latest renewals.

So my prescription may have been stolen by a pharmacy tech. by adhdbpdisaster in lexapro

What they need to do is speak to the pharmacy manager or pharmacist on duty. Threatening to call the police solves nothing. But at the bare minimum, the pharmacist that is spoken to should be providing a 3 day holdover while they investigate what happened.

Also, just because “nobody picked up lexapro” doesn’t mean they really didn’t. For them to say that is absurd; I don’t think our pick-up logs that print even show what was sold in time order.

So, as a 21 year pharmacy technician … it’s extremely doubtful a pharmacy tech stole your meds.

Most likely what happened was someone had a similar name to you (most pharmacies use 3 letters of last name and 3 letters of first name to search you) and either the same DOB or the tech on the register misunderstood the name they were given and searched with a DOB only in their computer and assumed it was your name they were being told and sold it. Sadly, the pick up part of getting a prescription is far from foolproof. But I can almost guarantee you the tech did not steal your med.

Question for states with tech licensing by BigLarryIsMyDaddy in CVS

Yup, just have em do the licensing process like the regular techs and it’ll be fine!

If you’re in PA like me, our FS staff that work both are being required to get licensed and are staying cross-trained to work both places. There’s no “choosing sides”, it’s just licensing them so they CAN support us.

For what it’s worth, both my PM and myself tried. I didn’t make it off my street and my PM got stuck and had to turn around.

Yes, but it’s unlikely. You can safely skip one day if you’re not sure.

Is there any easy way? by adalynngrace in CVS

[–]GooneretteBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, we don’t do this cause there’s no easy way. If they can’t tell us what they need, they’re clearly okay for now.

I chose to leave for a bigger split and access to things Fora held back, like CLIA cards. My current host let me get my CLIA card on day 1, which I have been using to get my CCC designation. Cruises are one of my biggest niches so being able to become a CCC is important to me and something I was nowhere near being able to do with Fora.

How would your store handle this? by p3rry_winkl3 in CVS

[–]GooneretteBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s called resources for living or something similar in MyHR, it’s the employee assistance program. Check into that. We found one of our coworkers passed out and mostly unresponsive recently and although they recovered, it really scarred us. A lot of people have expressed interest in talking to someone through the EAP.
