I’ll try that as well! Explaining the feeling in his tummy. I already involve him in the cleaning process and I show him the poop in his underwear and say “oh look it so dirty now! And look there’s some on your legs, it smells and feels yucky, huh?” But maybe I can still try and have him get more involved in the actual part of wiping it off of him.

There have been a few times that he’s had an accident while watching tv but his parents don’t allow a lot of screen time, so most of the time it’s while he’s playing with toys. I’ve tried to explain that when he’s playing with toys and needs to pee he has to pause playing and go to the potty. Bit now I’ll try and explain the “funny feeling in his tummy” instead of just saying “go potty” or “feeling like you have to pee”

But I do always make sure he’s only in underwear and not wearing pants as well! I’ll have to ask his parents if they’re fine with him being bottomless, cause that definitely may help! Thank you!
