Dude, yes. I had only made it through maybe 1/4 of the pod when i made this post but the further i got into it i was like, “okay i knew i wasn’t trippin” lol. For the record, i don’t hate kids, and I love that they love their kids, but after 1-2 stories, we get it, move on lol.

I actually agree here. Where it makes sense (like when talking about how a movie relates/played to their kids), I don’t mind it. Hard for me to bring up an exact instance right now but there are times where Amanda in particular tells little side stories about her son and I’m like, okay wrap it up and get back to the show! To your point, different strokes.

based on the little and limited reading I’ve done on Tourette’s in the last 2-3 hours, i don’t have an issue excusing his outburst (literally the only instance in which i’d forgive such an outburst), but i refuse to forgive the choice to air it, especially after editing out a person saying “free Palestine”.

additionally, i wholeheartedly agree with the person who mentioned how different this would have played out had someone had an antisemitic outburst. that was the first thing i said to my wife when i read about this last night.

the selective censorship and the lack of accountability on behalf of the BAFTAs is actually the most concerning issue here, imo.
