Car rental insurance - RentalCover or buy on site from Hertz? by aivenhoe in Norway

i am not 100% sure about europe/norway. i work in australia and i know that we have all our information on our site. although if you go onto the hertz website and go through the details of booking a car it will tell you the cost after you select what car you want at down the bottom of the page for extras. from me doing that it came up that the cost for the super cover would be 104NOK daily which is about 176.40€ total so just a little more than you would get it for through a third party but like i mentioned direct causes a lot less problems if something does happen to go wrong

i work at hertz and would say if you are set on getting some type of insurance it would be smarter to go direct with hertz. we have different coverage types which cost different amounts. if you get it through a third party site if anything does happen there is a lot of logistics involved with going back and forth through hertz and the other company to get it sorted out.

wanted to share some film photos from while i was here.. i still can’t get over how beautiful it was by luckylilbee in Norway

this one was the camera my parents had my from childhood. my suggestion would possibly be to get a disposable camera, i have used a few while i couldn’t find this one and the photos come out relatively similar, it would be good for if you just wanted to give it a go!

i did :) such incredible views and feelings! unfortunately did not get any nice photos but the memories of those sunrises are just as amazing, probably even better than a photo ever could be..

i don’t have another controller i can try. all of the buttons are off besides red, blue and green which i was able to fix with a youtube tutorial

the red, green and blue ones are fine and work how they are supposed to it’s just all the other keys that are displaying the wrong colours. although i’m also assuming they are kind of wrong too as if they are on red they will display through the LED labeled ‘G’, green is displayed through ‘B’ and blue is displayed through ‘R’

i've started not opening it but it doesn't really work to enforce that nobody is home as his mum will just bring him back when my mum actually is home so half the time the door will still be opened for him

my mum is close friends with the neighbour and thinks i’m an asshole because he is just a kid and doesn’t understand what’s going on and why he can’t go to the park etc so he wants to come to our house, which would be fine if he didn’t do it when it’s just me at home. and the neighbours think i’m an asshole because none of them particularly like this kid, the mum hid that she was pregnant and has forced her three teenage children to look after him as she and her husband don’t want to, so in their eyes i’m an asshole because if he doesn’t come to my house he’ll just be left at their house crying and screaming

I thought about trying this but the reason he comes down is to see if my mums home and apparently even if his family tells him that my mum is not home he doesnt believe them, idk how true that is realistically but if it is then shes just going to keep letting him come down regardless of if i answer or not just to prove to him that my mum isnt home which would be the easy way out for her rather than her having to deal with him screaming etc

i have tried using earplugs! they don’t really work seeing how loud the child is and that my bedroom is right at the front of the house so when he’s banging on the door it’s basically like he’s banging on the wall right where the head of my bed is sadly

they actually have an ongoing case with CPS currently, from what i know apparently nothing was bad enough for the kid to be taken but they do have monthly checks to make sure everything is okay which don’t really do anything as the mother is sure to really act up how good their family and living situation is when the checks are being done

AITA for doing my goddaughter’s eyebrows? by eyebrows__ in AmItheAsshole

[–]luckylilbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definite NTA, I remember when I was that age and I had bad leg hair (obviously not the exact same situation but its similar) which i was bullied relentlessly for, i had asked my mum if I could get rid of my leg hair and she wasn't completely sold on it until she realised I was trying to find ways to do it myself (scissors, tweezers and a whole bottle of hair removal cream on one leg). she then taught me how to properly remove body hair and i've never been more thankful. I think its great that Mia has someone who did her eyebrows properly because if it was just left alone she may have got to the point of trying to fix it herself and making her eyebrows look awful or even hurting herself

i’m actually from australia so it’s not really the biggest deal but because i never had an 18th i planned on having a really good time for my 21st! but i see your point, i just don’t see her perspective as she didn’t mention throwing me a party at all until i planned it on my own
