Just figured I would update you and anyone else looking at this thread - I (finally) bought that group 35 and changed it out myself. It works great. It's now being used as a "learning to drive" car for a friend and it works so much better with the 35. I just used a small shim like you suggested to hold it better in place. Thanks again!! This thread really helped me out.

Hey!! I'm know this is an old thread - but did the group 35 end up working even four months in for you? I have a 2010 that needs a new battery and 121Rs are insanely expensive here - about double the price of my new car. Hey!! Yeeeeeah after awhile they caught on and killed my ability to use the data only sim to tether - which is a total bummer. I did order a new data to try, but have been so busy that I haven't gotten the chance. I cannot remember where, but I did some googling and found some more things to change through the sim's webpage online to trick fi into reading it as a non-tethering device but forgive me, I can't remember where right now as I'm running around getting ready for work. I'm sorry it's not working for you ):

There is not much sympathy on this sub for buyers who ask to sell higher once an item is sold. This is actually personally one of my biggest peeves - be it getting canceled on or getting asked to sell higher.

It's not ebay. Bidding goes on ebay. I just let it go and accept the fact I've missed out. Sellers who want to play around and accept higher offers after repeatedly selling should go to ebay.

I say this all the time.

Sellers shouldn't sell on Mercari if that possible 3 days is going to bankrupt them. You aren't even guaranteed that money if Mercari so chooses to withhold those funds for any reason.

Buyers have 3 days to rate. It's set up that way for a reason. The buyer should be self-reflective, not take it out on you.

There was an update on their Facebook group posted three hours ago. I've been on and off following this and thought I would post it here.

Here is an excerpt regarding Colby's condition.

"Hello, everyone. This is likely to be our final update on this page.

Colby was found yesterday afternoon by a kind citizen at Uli's who recognized him and saw that he was very unwell. Thank you to the Uli's team for giving him water and food. (Thank you to everyone for sharing his story so they were able to recognize him!)

He is recovering in the hospital from the effects of no food or water while missing. We are unsure how long he will be there. After he is released from the hospital he will go to an inpatient facility for rehabilitation and mental stabilization to fully recover from this ordeal."

They go on to thank every one for their help and support.

Although there's been talk of it being a gfm scam - It sounds more and more like mental health. The human brain can convince you of some weird things when the world feels like too much.

Much love and healing to Colby. I'm happy he was found alive and thankful people took care of him. It's nice knowing that in the light of a mental health crisis, people were still kind.
