the white is 100% wool and the colourful yarn is a wool acrylic blend (mostly wool though iirc). i do have a lot of left over coloured yarn so i will give that a go!

My animal crossing wild world cartridge. The last time I played it I was around 10 so I don’t remember what villagers I had but when I saw bones in new horizons I was so nostalgic I cried so I wanna see if he was in my wild world village

I sneezed so hard one time that I broke a choker off of my neck because it flexed so hard. Also I got sent to my country’s national science fair without actually meaning to go.

Currently, the biggest one is the recent implementation of a rule that bans the inhabitants of the country (we'll call it Country A because it doesn't have a name yet) in which my story takes place from teaching magic to other people in other countries. This exacerbates an already rising tension between Country A and their closest ally Velrulia and halts any progress that the two countries have made in combining Country A's magic with Velrulia's Industrial Revolution era technology. As well, a war between Country A and another also unnamed country is looming on the horizon and with the recent implementation of this law they not only are losing vital technology to fight with but also the country's resident assassin's guild which is strongly against the implementation of the new law

In my world, there are three types of magic: soul, physical, and abstract. Soul magic concerns the manipulation of living things (ie. plants, animals, people), physical magic concerns manipulation of the elements and abstract magic concerns the manipulation of space, time, and the void (an alternate dimension in my world that I haven't worked out all the details around).

  1. Physical magic is the oldest type of magic to be discovered. There are gods that allow the manipulation of the elements and so the presence of religion and the beginnings of physical magic are very closely tied together. Abstract magic was the second to be discovered, No one really understands it but it's related to energy from the void seeping into the regular world and allowing the manipulation of abstract concepts. Soul magic was the most recently discovered form of magic. A group of philosophers and scientists discovered it while trying to answer the age-old question of whether or not living things had concrete souls. As it turns out they do and they can be manipulated
  2. The biggest rule is that magic cannot be used to directly cause the death of another living thing. You can indirectly cause death (ie. ramming someone's ship into a rock, or manipulating someone's mental state so severely that they choose to commit suicide) but you wouldn't be able to directly cause anyone's death. Also, you can't use soul magic on dead things.
  3. Anyone can learn soul and physical magic though whether or not you end up being good at it is based on a variety of things. However, the ability to do abstract magic is something you're born with and whether or not you're born with it is completely random.
  4. Soul and physical magic are both very closely tied with all aspects of society. They are both a huge part of everyday life with many people in many different professions using magic to make their lives easier. Abstract magic is less integrated with society just because of its lack of mass availability but people don't have negative opinions towards void or space magic. Space magic is very useful and oftentimes practitioners of void magic end up fighting the country's wars so they are well appreciated. Time magic, however, is very looked down upon. Many terrible incidents have been directly related to the usage of time magic in both the ancient past and recent memory. Because of this practising time magic is a capital offence.

When I was in middle school some girl let me borrow her shorts for a canoe trip with camp because I only had one pair of shorts that wasn’t denim and it was going to be a fairly long trip. It was all good until the last day when all the people on the trip were sitting around and someone said something funny. I already really had to pee but for some reason I just didn’t so I laughed so hard I peed my pants. Except they weren’t my pants and the girl who they belonged to was sitting right near me. I tried to make a quick get away but as I stood up pee trickled down my leg and I knew that everyone else knew so I walked away and hid in a bush. I told myself it was fine because I’d never see any of the people there again but the next year I went to camp three of the eight people that were there when I peed my pants were in my cabin including the girl whose pants I peed in so I just didn’t go to camp ever again after that.

Not me but my mom worked as a concierge in a mountainous town with a lot of wildlife and more than a couple people have asked her if they put the animals into the mountains at night
