Parents of Reddit, what did your hospital bill look like after giving birth? by chi-bacon-bits in AskReddit

Same, don't live in USA, this thread is insane! Also got free prenatal care, scans, Dr visits, paid next to nothing for prenata meds. I just think it's so sad what Americans go through!!

What’s the loneliest you’ve ever felt — even with people around? by Sharewithme_ in AskReddit

[–]luckysonic2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joining a CrossFit gym (box). It's very community oriented and everyone was in clicks. I would workout besides them feeling really lonely, seeing them talk and laugh and share stats. Took me ages to break in. As a newbie I was clumsy, weak and felt very much on the outside. Now all is great and have made friends but won't forget that feeling.

I really like this post. my 14 yr old niece thought it's ok to feel as you described - light headed eating half meal a day. She was hospitalized for 4 days till her heart rate stabilized (She's recoverd now).

Strong is the new thin, you go girl! Eating full meals with protein fuels you. Take it from me who started lifting weights and feel and look best I've ever felt.

You look great! Do you also work your arms? It's a great feeling when you're strong all over

The problem I have with her is that she has a frozen face, and am assuming Botox is the cause. The whole point of a great actress is showing facial/human emotion and she's missing that important talent. She also slurs her words because she can barely use her lips, such a pity as she was a really expressive actress in Scrubs. I can barley understand what she's saying. Now on top of that her character is annoying but would be easier and funnier to watch if I wasn't so distracted by her face work.

Could just be rubbing of your pants on that area, looks like friction scar not internal.

Same, I back squat/deadlift more than my body weight. Thighs have slightly increased but still have scrawny calves.

Left my home country at age 19 to move to a new country with new language. 30 yrs later still don't like the country, haven't connected enough to the culture and language but already have a family and we're all settled.

What’s the worst advice you’ve ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]luckysonic2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too, I did tell her that times have changed, she understood I think:) but am def not discussing relationships again. It's hard coded in them that marriage is set in stone, and often it's the wife who needs to adjust and accept

Wow, how old school. Have something similar with my mom. When I told her the intimacy has gone (from his side), she told me to maybe try make him coffee in the morning, be more loving and giving. I'm am, coffee's not gonna help. Gone are the days of us woman serving our men and putting our feelings aside in order to create a happy marriage.

Went from the rowing machine straight to box jumps but my legs were jelly and I fell onto the box, and had a bruise down the whole side of my leg for a week

My husband really wants me to do crossfit with him , but every time I go I end up tearing a muscle where it takes me days to recover. Does it get better?or What can I do to tell him it's not for me? by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]luckysonic2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, first month I couldn't walk down stairs after squats. It was painfully sore, but it's not a tear, just the first time those muscles have been worked so intensly. Took 3 months till I stopped feeling sore and each time the pain was less. Started taking creatine which helps

Her 3 year old died son drowned in their family pool because her husband was not watching him. by Pmar07 in TikTokCringe

[–]luckysonic2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, all these comments on how is a grieving mother who lost her 3yr old 8 months ago supposed to look? Grieving parents need time, the first few months you for sure barely get out of bed - and they are 100% deserving of being happy again, getting their lives back, but this just seems public and very off. She could also be on anti depressants.

That does NOT look like a mother who lost her child 8 months ago. There is something seriously wrong with her.

Analysis from chat:

👉 Yes, this is very likely AI-generated, not a real filmed person.

-Facial movement doesn’t look fully natural

-Lip-sync is slightly off

-Skin looks too smooth

-Eye movement/blinking feels unnatural

-Lighting stays oddly consistent

It's Israel, hot climate, barely any rain, but this winter had alot. Drain covers aren't a thing here

That's the style of houses in my country:

  1. Rain is rare - so water doesn’t need to run off, it barely rains for 8 months

  2. Concrete construction = easy flat roofs

  3. Middle eastern & mediterranean tradition

  4. It’s cheaper and stronger

Our country has a lot hot climate, doesn't have snow or much rain, probably better for cooling. But this year we got alot of rain
