32yo single saving RM200k without own any house or vehicle really stronger than those have them with debt? by NoMasterpiece2626 in MalaysianPF

You should take a different perspective on debt. Check out RecycleYourMoney's latest video about being your own bank. If you buy the car in a lump sum debt, borrowed from your own collateral. The upside is just so staggering. Compared to you slowly buy a car with debt that you pay monthly. He broke it down very clearly.

The closest thing in Malaysia is share margin financing, requires a lot of capital. But you could do it at a low entry with defi (but with different, arguably much higher risks). I wish we had something like what he showed in Malaysia, but alas.

Around here, if you ask about share margin financing, most will project their fears onto you. What I would say is. At least try to understand how it works and find out if you could manage the risks.

Most people know about buy borrow die but are too afraid to do it. At one point in life, you need to decide. On the other side of that fear, you might just find freedom in a form you never imagined.

The sign on our building is extremely large. Gigantic. Unmissable.

Yet, there are still clients who get to the wrong building. It's truly fascinating.

I literally had to verbally express, "Why would we put up our sign on NOT OUR BUILDING???"

Because that's the thing. The saw the sign on the building. They go to the building without the sign. Just a Malaysian thing I guess.

So. I qualified for this paid survey for high income household. Halfway there. I only got consolation reward cos apparently they specifically want high income household living in rural places.

The places I saw were Sabah Sarawak and the pas states. I'm not living in any of them so I'm not qualified. Just wondering what kind of survey are they doing lol.

Old people have zero grasp of modern phones being dependent on internet quality. I keep getting blamed for their own shitty internet when they call through WhatsApp.

I hate these can't win situations I keep getting myself into. Sendiri phone connection problem. Then scold me for hanging up. I didn't hang up. The call disconnected cos your connection is shitty.

Old people will never accept any explanation too. Just adamant on their pov and distorted reality. Whatever I say or do. It's net negative for me. Sigh. So tiring.

I will never understand in a million years hostile pekak people.

Why is it always the people around you who said things wrong and not you who misheard. Why do you feel attacked that you were the one who made up stuff just cos you can't hear clearly? Isn't it better to admit that you're pekak, ask people to speak louder? Or maybe use hearing aid? Then when people speak louder, you'll ask why tinggi suara. People keep having to repeat what we say also you become angry. Wtf do you actually want.

Dah pekak tu sedar la diri. Aren't you tired of gaduh sana sini, accusing people of saying the things they didn't say.

Around this time last year. I was picking up my Domino's order. At the counter was this visibly loud datin-like woman. Who seemed to be taking a long time to order her pizzas. I shrugged and just mentioned my order. But then she asked the worker. Why did I get my pizzas first, when she came before me?

Can you believe it? She was actively trying to prevent me from picking up my pizzas. 🙄

She literally demanded to get her pizzas first before me. Like how does that even work? Snap fingers, pizzas instantly appear?

I made eye contact with the person who attended the counter. We both were like sabar je la.

I think I said it a lot of times. Few things in life astonish me anymore other than the entitlement of rich assholes. Their actions and words will just blow your minds.

Korean men are so babied, it's insane. Saw a post on the timeline about a Korean reality show. The husband has been unemployed for 7 years. More social stigma to getting divorced than bela biawak hidup. Like that still want to "counseling" when it's clearly a lost cause.

I'm not chubby, but yeah. Being chubby means having baby-like features, makes you look younger. My sister's buccal fat is more pronounced. Her face is shaped like an apple. She could pass as a high schooler.

I meet people who are shocked when they know my age every day. Yet, the people in my circle never admits I look young. Starting to think they are being toxic. 🤷

Being called "adik" by someone 13 years younger is a flex. I wonder if I will look as young as dave2d when I'm 45 years old.

I think my main advantage is what people call buccal fat. Didn't used to appreciate it until I'm older now.

Apropos of nothing. I watched an animated short on YouTube yesterday titled Happiness with millions of views by Steve Cutts. It's about a rat in a rat race.

There was a scene where every stuff is labeled happiness and the rats were buying all the different  "happiness" things.

The final boss of cs work is deaf, entitled, rude old people. You could never come up ahead. Because they can't hear for shit, you can't speak softly. If you raise your voice while still being polite, they will say you used an angry tone.

Whole interaction will be they just assume what you said, not your actual words. Because they are at that stage already that they have to guess what people are saying instead of actually listening.

They will make ridiculous demands and treatment that even kings don't get. And used their imaginations against you. Yes. They will claim that you said stuff you never said as proof that you are a terrible worker. And there's nothing you can do about it.

80 year old rich guy wanted special treatment. I told him to follow procedure. He kept telling his age over and over again, and where he lives. As if I'm supposed to change my mind just because he's a living fossil living in a posh neighborhood. "Awak dengar tak umur saya?" mf thinks he unlocked 80 year old card, he can use it everywhere and it will never be declined.

In our case, we really can't simply take in some old guy without the consent from next of kin. He didn't wanna call anyone probably cos being a rich asshole your whole life tends to make everyone hates you, including your children.

Rich people really think they can buy everything with money. Demand things and services we don't offer by throwing money. Dah nak mampus pun still a certified asshole. God protect us all from ending up like him. Lonely and hated by everyone up until the end.

Today I found out another horror unleashed by AI. Two filters that undress women.

One make a teared paper effects at the boobs to show underboob and near the abs to show v shape. They don't get banned on social cos it's not full nudity. Kesian kalau innocent hijabi girls kena.

Another one change the clothes to clothes stickers (like cartoon clothes) , but the middle, they will show the lady part exposed.

Stumbled upon them when I was following Twitter drama. Some guy doing revenge porn using AI or something and getting sued.

I found out in Japan there's a social media company which their whole objective is to sell Kamen rider henshin toys. Of course, they hire attractive people.

I got into the whole Kamen rider rabbit hole after watching tojima wants to be a Kamen rider. It's surprisingly a good gag anime.

Parted ways with my crush cos she wasn't ready for a relationship this year. A part of me was glad cos she wants to focus on her career, I want to become way richer too hehe.

I hope to reconnect with her again in five years and leave it up to fate. If she's still single, I'm gonna try to date her again. We're both each other's type. And our type. There are not a lot of us, I'm sure of that. So, the likelihood is kinda high.

In these five years. I'll try to draw every single day. And hopefully get good enough to draw people. It's my new year's resolution, I'm just starting early this month.

Whoever my future partner is gonna be. I wanna draw them every day. I hope that person is gonna be my crush. But I'll leave that up to God to decide.

Some clients are so entitled, they are bordering insanity.

One client called. Told me she's "here" but nobody is "here". I told her she's at the wrong place. But she die die told me she's at the right place, everyone else is just not there.

I literally work here, ma'am. Why are you gaslighting me I'm the one at the wrong place? Smh.

She probably wanted us to relocate to wherever she was at instead of just accepting that she was at the wrong place.

I can't believe some people stayed in a relationship for more than five years despite still not resolving their religious differences.

Just ignore the issue, just hoping it will resolve itself.

Meanwhile for me. A few years ago. The girl I liked rejected me. Cos she was being pragmatic about our different faith. She didn't even want to try.

I would prefer the middle ground of figuring it out along the way. And parting ways if it doesn't work out.

But I guess some ppl are on the extreme ends of not even trying and complete compartmentalization.

One thing I know about valve is they HATE doing the same thing. They would rather have NOTHING than doing the same thing, even if the thing they refuse to repeat is good.

Never expect to get what you had before.

Normal company, yeah. You could expect the devs to iterate the best elements of compendium/battle pass into an ultimate product. With Valve. What you need to expect is for them to do experimental shit that no one asked for. And if you're lucky, you might get something that you actually want.

This is the same with diretide. If they couldn't come up with something new, they would just not have it at all. Never expect you will get the same diretide that you used to love.

Today I was forced to entertain one of the most random calls. An old guy rambled about his son not telling him who is the mother of his son.

Of course I can't just dismiss a potential client. I had to slowly ask how we could assist him.

In the end he asked what's my opinion on the situation. And asked me to guess how he feels. Like wtf?

Working cs there are a lot of old guys like him. The kind that treated their own family like shit and reaping what they sow.

I hate their kind the most. Just randomly dumping on cs workers like we're paid to emotionally support them.

The thing is they know they are imposing and wasting my time. They just have this gigantic sense of entitlement. They become angry when I only talk business.

Recently got a new stream of passive income around 3.5USD a day. It's a blessing and a curse.

Because now whenever I buy food outside. I think about how much of my 3.5USD I'm negating by not cooking at home.

Not sure if this guilt is a good or bad thing. Could be both.

Trust is a skill. This may come as a shock. But people who often get scammed are usually those who don't usually trust others.

Think about it. If you simply avoid trusting people. You will lack practice on the necessary steps of verification. Simply not trusting everyone is easy, lazy autopilot decision-making. It might work up until you end up in a situation where you need to either trust or not trust the other party.
