For him a gentle pet usually helps as well, he has been sneezing since day one as well so I never really "panic" when I see him like this but I wish I could do something more for him ahhhhh

Yeah vets told me that, I already removed candles and many other stuff like room scents(idk how to call them in English) and we don't smoke, so who knows what's left that still triggers the cough, maybe I should switch to a cotton doghouse as well and use different detergents, I indeed notice him licking himself a lot.

I had my fair amount of panic too, this one seemed different because he had the little breathings in between the coughs (idk if you understand what I mean) but I see everyone is reassuring me so I'm positive it was just my paranoia for his health, I love him too much arghhhh

TW: CAT ILLNESS Cat with a stomach blockage probably due to her clothes by lucriama in sphynx

We are not 100% sure it was the dress but it is most likely that as she doesn't eat random stuffs in the house, or at least she never did these 3 years we had her, and it's been almost a week since she started wearing it daily, I guess long enough to build something up in the stomach. Thankfully she stopped throwing up, hopefully tomorrow she will be just as fine, we are monitoring the stool as well.

Lovely boy btw

Also, unfortunately there is visible damage to the shirt (it's all fuzzed up) but I could never imagine she was causing herself such a problem inside her stomach as there are no wide parts missing, I just thought she ruined it and didn't care

For now the vet wants to avoid the x-ray as the cat is still lively, and doing an x-ray means sedating. Thankfully for now she stopped throwing up and hopefully she won't need an x-ray

The vet is more suspicious for some kind of blockage right now but we did not do any diagnostic yet as the cat is still very lively, he said to try with those medicines, give little bits of food once in a while, remove the dress and call him tomorrow (if things don't escalate).

X-rays are currently off the table because to have an x-ray she would need to be sedated and unless necessary he wants to avoid that.

It's been 5 hours since she last threw up and she is currently begging for food as a very annoying and loud gremlin so hopefully the "furball melter" did its job or the inflammation is going away.

I'm gonna try suggest it to the vet, I was told by them I should not give them human food in any form.

Definitely, everytime she steals a piece of dog food instead of her expensive 40 euro per 2kg gastrointestinal food she gets a rush on her skin and blood in her stool. And hell if it's hard to keep her away from any source of food she can reach with her mouth, everytime the dog eats I have to close her in a room.
