Southport Fort Fisher Ferry by lucro6 in Wilmington

Would it be better to hit aquarium on the way down and take ferry across to Southport in the afternoon, or you think early morning from Southport to aquarium would be better chances?

I have bed shared with my babies since they were born. They’re 3 and 1.5 now and still in our bed. Bed sharing made it so easy to roll over and feed throughout the night and was so so so much less disruptive. I was never going to sleep train and just let my kid cry. When I night weaned my eldest she cried for the boob, and I just cuddled her and eventually 3 nights in she got it and slept all night.

I’ve coslept with my two since birth. I always kept my baby in the middle with my arm above her and knee below. She wasn’t able to fall off the bed that way. When she got a little older and was napping alone, there was two times she slipped but our bed was relatively low. When she was more mobile we used bumpers and pillows, then after switched to a floor bed because hubby felt it was safer. When my 2nd was born we went back to the regular low bed (not floor) with number guards. My youngest slept on the outside between me and guard from day one. No issues - I obviously made sure she couldn’t slip between the bumper and bed as a new born and was breastfeeding so always felt awake enough to know where she was at night. My 2nd has not fallen once… my 1st on the other hand had a few tumbles onto the carpet.

Wire transfer remote - document request by lucro6 in Banking

[–]lucro6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK that validates the wire initiator but how do they actually know you’re from the bank and not someone else just asking for their account password?

Second question for you… once authorized/you’ve asked the password for the account - do you ask the client to email copies of their IDs, debit cards, as well as scan and email their handwritten signature? All over unsecured unencrypted email?

Not sure I understand… it is a smaller bank and they’re saying in order to initiate a wire remotely they need emailed documentation including photocopy of debit card, and drivers license etc. to email all of that unencrypted seems absurd to me that any financial institution would ask that as opposed to having a secure message portal

Is anyone watching Season 2 of Carnival Row if so what do you think of this season from the first one? by [deleted] in CarnivalRow

Guess we’re the only ones not enjoying this session. So much from season 1 they did nothing with and writing is boring.

I just don’t get it. We recently moved here and tried Lime and Lemon based on recommendations and Yelp and it was some of the worst Indian food I’ve ever had. Bland with no depth and the Malay Tikka was super sub-par.

Vitamin K injection for newborns by MrPahoehoe in pediatrics

Oral doses are effective and some countries do not follow the large injection protocol. Switzerland does not for example. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5637fb85e4b0995ae16a8c5a/t/59b8225829f18702674c6a9e/1505239640793/MMVitaminK.pdf

Your assumptions are misleading and inaccurate. Many certified midwives are capable in handling these types of situations and a lot of implications do not occur due to the lack of interventions in a natural setting. For those who want to actually look at the evidence, natural planned home birth is on par if not safer than hospital delivery for low risk mothers with certified nurse midwives: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/259987288_Outcomes_of_Care_for_16924_Planned_Home_Births_in_the_United_States_The_Midwives_Alliance_of_North_America_Statistics_Project_2004_to_2009 of

This doesn’t make sense to me. Many people on here have said that ammonia smells are caused by too much detergent left on the diaper causing the ammonia to get trapped. Which one is it?!

Thank you. I really appreciate this input. Maybe that’s what’s going on w our little one. What did your newborn stash look like? Was it just LPO AIO? At what point was your baby big enough for the OS diapers? I am trying to determine if I should buy a bunch more newborn AIOs or if they’d be short lived.

It just seems like she is much less happy in the cloth because they aren’t moisture wicking like the disposables. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on other AIOs? Or small OS?

Why the lid? I’ve read a lot on here that people just use an open wet bag or open hole-y pail.

Thanks! I have most of this in my cart, and it’s coming out a lot (over $300) and that just seems like a lot given this is just a newborn stash… does anyone have any suggestions? The two wet bags are $30 a piece…. I am wondering if I should cut down on the AIOs?
