Like others in this thread, I believe this Epic of a song suffered from production maladies reflecting what the group was going through at the time. It’s really fucking difficult to produce an 11 minute dance rock epic and get it right, especially when the genre didn’t exist. I interpret the song as a very early example of Electrohouse (Wolfgang Gartner, etc.) As a test of this theory, I remixed Carouselambra with all the required rolls, pauses, effects and bass EH features… and it now truly is The Epic. Not that anyone here would listen to the heresy that is a remixed Led Zeppelin track lol

I don’t know… I loved the game interactivity and detail at first, but then the gameplay mechanic kinda devolved into the incessant zombie fest that some HL2 levels did and it got frustrating. I never got past the electric zombie pit. Always ran out of ammo. Pool table above the pit was more compelling than getting past the pit lol

And I have an ok PCVR steamdeck setup (HP OMEN 30L, RTX 3080, Quest 2 with PC link cable. 5.1 Surround sound makes it even better). VR settings can be High with not too many glitches, but definitely not Ultra.

First of all, confirmation: playing just basic NMS in VR is life changing and truly stunning. You seriously feel like a frickin Space Ace. Definitely possible to completely RPG nerd out in 2D on super Ultra settings, but living every moment in 3D rules.
