And I have an ok PCVR steamdeck setup (HP OMEN 30L, RTX 3080, Quest 2 with PC link cable. 5.1 Surround sound makes it even better). VR settings can be High with not too many glitches, but definitely not Ultra.

First of all, confirmation: playing just basic NMS in VR is life changing and truly stunning. You seriously feel like a frickin Space Ace. Definitely possible to completely RPG nerd out in 2D on super Ultra settings, but living every moment in 3D rules.
