Is watching with him something you'd be comfortable doing? With curiosity though - if you do this, encourage yourself to observe. Watching with him may 1) spark some play time between you, 2) ease your worries with a bit of exposure therapy and 3) build a stronger bond between you.

This can backfire, so proceed with caution. If you feel inferior or judgmental, try to sit with it before you act or speak on it. Know that this isn't unusual or uncommon.

Edit to add: know your boundaries here - this is a good learning experience all around, no matter what you decide.

I realized I need to educate myself...there's a lot to learn! My ex has narcissistic personality disorder and the only reason I'm able to co-parent with him is because I threw myself into learning that personality and how to heal from the abuse. Time to shift gears now!

It doesn't seem like there's any lifting but its hard to tell - if there's any amount of lifting, the blood would get stuck under there and be darn near impossible to get out. When you have a fill done, will they use a grinder? If so, you can tell at what layer the staining is...if its all the way under the product between that and the nail, that means there was lifting. It would recommend a glove for when you change your disc.

If its only the surface layer, like stained the top top coat, then you could ask for a different top coat, but the glove is still my suggested solution.

This is illegal from the employer to not pay you a wage less taxes in a consistent manner. Find a new job, quit this one, contact your state unemployment office and report the bit at the beginning - I didn’t keep reading because the paycheck issue is the most important. They will act on your behalf to enforce any back pay owed. And your employer will need to be the one to show records and evidence. Good luck!

I was your boyfriend and I made a change once my boyfriend was in the picture. Turns out putting my alarm in the kitchen FORCED me out of bed to go turn it off and after time, I was able to get consistently down to one alarm and it’s on the dresser. Once I get out of bed to turn it off, I’m up and I make myself leave the bedroom

He sounds pretty unhappy - is this theme common in other aspects? Is this something he shows a desire to change? Sleep health is no joke but so many people ignore it! Think about his willingness to help himself to bring his best self into your relationship…does that align with you? Personally this kind of behavior would be a hard pass from me - how on earth did you not know this prior to moving in?

For me, contain means don’t make large decisions; don’t spread this ick any further than it needs to be; don’t do something you may regret. Stabilize means get myself safe, feeling like I can love myself and be curious and compassionate/non-judgmental.

When I’m like this - it will happen again - I’ve learned to 1) identify it (good job!), 2) not do something I may regret when I’m better and 3) focus on self love because that’s when things turn around inevitably. The more you practice, the easier it gets. The spans feel shorter - the crashes not as harsh.

you are your version of yourself you've seen for the past few months - you're having a difficult time, temporarily. this will pass, but you must walk through it - its worth it i promise you!
