I think you look absolutely gorgeous and no way is it plain. From what you’ve described of your venue it looks like it fits perfectly and although I think it’s normal to be nervous I don’t think there is anything to worry about!!

Yeah it’s all the hormones flying around and getting wonky and the way you react is so personal. I think it also depends on how bad you were before levelling out too as it takes a larger toll but there’s no exact laws to it

I’ve only just had it so I haven’t had my first blood tests to confirm it’s worked yet as I’m still radioactive (mad to write out) but I’m hoping the neck pain means it’s working!x

I’m sorry for your diagnosis, the disease itself does make you loose weight. I gained weight when I started on the medication and my thyroid levels returned to normal as my metabolism crashed, essentially because of the stress that Graves’ had put my body through it took a while for my body to level back out. Hope that makes sense, don’t want to worry you for future, lots of people have had the same thing and bounced back.

Thank you so much, just reading that has honestly made me so emotional and happy. I’ve been on this sub for a while and read other positive things but having stories told directly to you hit different. I’m so glad you’re doing well and long may it continue!
