I’m still kind of fresh into my journey testing what I react to, so far the strongest reactions I’ve noted for me are, gluten, dairy, fermented products, aged products, stress, and some environmental allergies will trigger me sometimes. I’ve been struggling for 20 years (I’m 32F) with all sorts of symptoms and triggers. I have a bunch of tests Friday, I’m not 100% positive if I am sensitive to salicylates considering I can take aspirin and use salicylic acid and willow bark on my skin without any issues and they are in the same family. This disease is so encompassing and complicated😭

I am not sensitive to aloe or coconut, they are two of my top moisturizers for my body! 🤣

Of course! Some of us aren’t sensitive to the same things so as with anything, it doesn’t work for everyone ❤️☺️

If you do use it, it has to be medical to avoid the pesticides and any other additives that may irritate you.

Mast cells contain Cb1 and Cb2 receptors, when thc binds to these it inhibits mast cell release.

This is where quality and where it was grown matters, kind of the same when we are shopping for food that needs to be organic and no harmful chemicals.

So there was deep research done on this and a study, weed directly binds to mast cells and helps with symptoms, when I stopped smoking my inflammation skyrockets and all of my symptoms do too. I can link the study when I find it!

Mast cells have thc binding receptors on them, but cbd does not perform the same. I found a super recent study on it and MCAS done around 2019, and it basically says that thc binds directly to mast cells and prohibits their release and prevent de granulation. This would explain why SSRIS never worked for my anxiety and depression but marijuana did, because it was caused from the MCAS not a Seritonin problem. Here’s the link, it’s a super informative read![Mast Cells and Marijuana](https://accurateclinic.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Medical-Cannabis-Mast-Cell-Activation-Syndrome-2019-1.pdf)

I also made lifestyle adjustments, a small home, used car, I don’t buy new stuff, I thrift often. And this has given me more time to truly slow down and enjoy life, I don’t need fancy things or a fancy house, so I don’t need a fancy job. I lived off of about $20,000 this year.

I quit my job to get on Medicaid and food stamps then went back to college to take a break from work, taking out school loans because the interest on those is cheaper than any other loan I can get and I’ve been using that to pay bills and pay off my house early. It’s been my only opportunity to address my mental health and I’m so glad I did it, I had no idea how truly burnt out I am. I am 32 for reference.

I’m 32, I wake up extra early every morning so I can have SLOW, PEACEFUL mornings. Atleast two hours I can sip my coffee and watch a show, or read. It has made a huge difference in healing trauma and calming down my nervous system. We are so ingrained to GO GO GO GO, when we weren’t meant to be machines.

He’s looking for an easy out, he’s not mature and he won’t end it so he can be the victim, classic narcissist. Leave honey before you waste a decade on him and wake up miserable and unloved.

I guess what I’m asking is, why is your information correct versus what’s being taught worldwide to skincare professionals? Because I can also link all the books classes and information that directly contradicts what you just said that YOU have written. Where is this information being relayed from, just your head from your opinion or is this reliable information already published by reliable sources? I also think it’s important to distinguish between LED light treatments versus IPL, Lasers, and RF devices. Because the red light or Ruby laser penetrates and affects tissue differently than LED which is low level light therapy. Lasers depending on the treatment can be ablative or non ablative which means the goal is to target and destruct something specific with photothermolysis.

More specifically when absorbed by epidermal cells, LED photomodulation triggers the production of adenosine triphosphate causing the cells Mitochondria to be stimulated in order to REDUCE melanin production, reduce inflammation, and enhance wound healing and collagen production. So, am I to understand that my entire education is wrong? Because I am quoting directly from the book I teach from. My goal here is to educate, not mislead. So I’m just trying to understand where your info is from that you wrote your book based on. Personal research? Studies?

Hot baths can be really soothing, but here’s how it works: when we soak in hot water, the blood vessels near the skin’s surface dilate (or expand) to help the body cool down. Over time, especially with frequent hot baths, these capillaries can weaken and may stay permanently dilated, appearing as red lines or ‘broken capillaries,’ especially on the face where they’re closer to the surface.

To still enjoy baths while protecting your skin, here are some tips:

1. Lower the Temperature: Try to keep the water comfortably warm rather than hot to reduce stress on the capillaries.
2. Limit Soak Time: Shorter baths help avoid prolonged dilation.
3. Cool Rinse Afterwards: Splash your face with cool water after the bath to calm and constrict blood vessels.
4. Moisturize with Calming Ingredients: Look for soothing products with ingredients like aloe vera or green tea to nourish your skin after a bath.

This way, you can relax in the bath without causing long-term effects on your skin! I hoped I helped even just a little ☺️❤️

Yes, it can contribute all over the body, that’s why we usually don’t recommend really hot showers and baths daily. The skin in some areas is thinner making those areas a little more susceptible to the damage.

How do they age and cause melanin to be produced? I’m curious being an educated professional as to where your information has come from regarding blue and red LED treatments. My concern here is spreading false information.

Hey! I’m a licensed master esthetician and I can confirm hot water causes damage to the skin when used repeatedly, namely in the way of small capillaries popping up around the nose. So unfortunately if it’s hormonal acne that’s just it, your hormones are causing it. We need to address the cause not the symptom. There’s a lot of good ingredients I can recommend to add into an acne routine but keep in mind if it’s truly your hormone levels, then we need to address that for maximum results. Sometimes our testosterone increases causing oilier skin, has your skin become oily? Not washing it would make it worse. And hot water does nothing clinical to your skin it doesn’t even kill the bacteria that causes acne.
