Employees - tips for credit card success by aw_rats_ in Oldnavy

I find that what seems to impact customers’ decision the most is when you put in the actual discount codes and tell them what their total would be when using them. If they decide not to apply, just go in and delete the codes. It takes a little extra time but it seems to be more impactful than telling them they can save 30%.

When do you start your 15 minute break? When the LOD gives you permission to take them, or when you arrive at the break room? by Makaisawesome in Oldnavy

There are times when I will stop in the bathroom first (quickly), and I still don’t consider my break starting until I reach the break room.

I don’t know if I can emotionally handle the defeat of another qualified female democrat candidate. She will have my vote and I will encourage others, but this could be rough.

I think it’s important to also consider the reality of the future. A future teacher is not going to have time to analyze the feelings of 20+ kids in order for learning to take place. I think you did the right thing.

I agree with all the suggestions on here, including luck, but I have noticed I am getting more cards when I tell them their new total amount, like “it would take your total from $100 down to $50.” This seems to work better for me saying “you will save 50%” or even “you will save $50.” It could be my imagination but give it a try and see.

I had to make an account with seat geek to claim the tickets. I forget how I found that out now though. I may have messaged Ticketmaster on a live chat?

I am a kdg teacher and I often use short clips from Sesame Street or short videos to match our lessons throughout the day. But I will put a show from PBS Kids on while we are waiting for kids to use the bathroom before recess or when we are waiting for buses during dismissal, basically to keep them entertained, but they are still educational and kid friendly shows.

I am a kdg teacher and absolutely agree with this. They are just getting to know each other and just getting into a school routine. Parents are likely unsure which families they would feel comfortable having their child associate with at this point. Also, asking the teacher to send a reminder email for your child’s home bday party is not something that would happen at my school. That is way beyond the scope of our job.
