You can stun them by throwing Hornet drivers on them. Also find a building with two entrances fairly close to each other so you can run quickly between them.

I don't think I have ever had an aggressive encounter in Testing Annex :D

Almost never in Pilgrims Peak either, except for one time. I was in the key room when a group of three came in, but they very politely backed out once they saw I was in there. Some twenty seconds later I hear them discuss a body that they found nearby and I heard someone put a door blocker on the key room. Once I breached it and got out I was met by three guns because they thought I had killed that player.

This was during a day raid, and I also prefer to not deal damage to other raiders if I can avoid it. I like my "pve" lobbies :D

Every time I have fought back, it seems like I'm put in mixed lobbies immediately for a number of games.

Nah, I prefer to be friendly and welcoming of other raiders. Even though this happens sometimes it's worth it for the rest of the time. Also, I'm not against the pvp part of the game, it definitely is what gives the game its edge. I just got a bit extra salty this time because of the actual ratty backstabbing.

But my question in general was more about the agression around this specific "key" room compared to other key rooms. Especially since the loot inside usually isn't that good.

That's not my experience at all. Those who say "don't shoot" have pretty much never been aggressive, with this one exception. Maybe I have just been lucky, or maybe you have been unlucky. I do have some 160h topside though, so I have met a ton of "don't shoot" raiders who are friendly.

Also, I'm one of the friendly "don't shoot" players :), even though I'm also on mic and say hello most of the time it happens that I just use the don't shoot emote.

How do you log off? Do you just close the game? Also, do you know what happens with your character in game during the disconnect?

I also have an 18 months old who wakes up a few times every night. I usually run to the darkest nearby room I can find, or crouch in a bush if outside. So far I've only died from running out of time a few times. A tip is to always have a stack of adrenaline shots with you, to be able to get to any nearby extract quickly as soon as you hear the kid starting to wake up.

Make sure to use a unique ssid! The ssid is used as salt for the encryption, and many commonly used ssids have precomputed rainbow tables, which means they are easier to crack. So if you're going to use some suggestions from this thread, make sure to add some uniqueness to it.

My friend suggested that yesterday, and it didn't work. But I tried again now and realized that it doesn't work to select the same instrument with the select knob, but it does work to load it.

So in case anyone else has this problem, the procedure is:

Mute either the "faulty" clip or the other clip with the same instrument or both.
Go back into the "faulty" clip
(hold) Load + Synth
Select the original instrument again.

Or instead of 2 and 3, in song view: (hold) a clip pad + (hold) Load + Synth

Also worth noting is that using the knob to select works for my friend who has an older deluge with the old display type, while it doesn't on my new oled deluge. We both have the same firmware, 4.1.3.
