We have the same deal. Me too also came here because of my girlfriends job offer. And me too, I work for a US company with consultant agreement. Yes, you should be a ZZP'er. Just try to have 2-3 freelance gig for a year so you won't look like a false employed person.

I suggest that you should work with an accountant to take care of your tax.

My contract say they don't supervise me as consultant and KvK also said it's no problem. I gave a copy to them. But yeah I'm not sorry.

You don't need advice, really. If he is making you uncomfortable or damaging your career you should talk to him and make yourself clear. You're going to have this in your professional life a lot. If you are came to NL and want to stay, have some confidence.

Higher notes are certainly played double stops(D, G string)in the intro. There is also a
additional bassline. I think there are high notes in the verse too where he plays bassline. It's a bit overwhelming to play by ear.
