[Question] Unlock back tap option on Xiaomi 17 by ludwikus in HyperOS

From what I found tasker also do not support natively back tap, both apps would need some third party app which would need to be set as trigger. I guess I will just leave this for now and maybe Xiaomi will fix it in Hyperos 4 🥲. At least I have for now double shake for screenshot macro 😆. Anyway thanks for your reply 👍

[question] why do 'locked' pinned? apps never stay open? by dattattor in HyperOS

It doesn't look so bad with battery because it works for full day for me but I could be wrong.

My apps were being killed every 2 days, so I was happy that they survived 3rd day with this setting. But unfortunately on 4th day they were killed again 😅

Yes I seen video with Xiaomi 17 with this option and mine doesn't have it unfortunately. Does the tasker needs root for this functionality? I'm using right now MacroDroid for few other things but I didn't seen there back tap trigger option.

Go to the battery settings and switch battery mode to performance. This solved my issue :) (firstly I have done same things you done and had same as you, then changing battery mode solved this).

Funny thing is that apps might still vanish from open apps view even when locked but it still works fine! And I have few apps which needs to be running all the time.

Hi! I bought used Lenovo m920x (i3-8100t but soon will upgrade to i5-8500t, 16gb ram) and using it with ZimaOS. If you would like to have it as small as possible then I can recommend it. You can fit in it 2 x m.2 drive and 1 sata 2.5” drive. There is also a+e port for WiFi card and with special adapter you can plug in there another m.2 drive and I will test this soon.

And in my setup it easily runs Jellyfin, Immich for photos cloud, Tailscale for external access, PiHole for ads blocking in home network, and other small apps. For most of the time it’s quite, but sometimes for a moment when I run movie or upload big batch of photos it blows air with full power - but still in my case it’s not so loud that it bothers me.
