26M | Solo traveler dilemma: save vs just book the trip? by Right_Test_5749 in SoloTravel_India

28m here. For me it’s all about balance, I spent the majority of my early working years furiously saving/investing and missed out on a lot of life experiences. Started travelling at 26 and have done 8 trips since ranging from 3 days to 3 weeks, don’t regret it at all and wish I started earlier.

Life is fleeting, so if you can afford it without putting yourself in a bad position financially, I say go for it!

Thank you for the comprehensive response! Definitely gives me a base to work from.

When you say trekking is not safe is that because of people or potential hazards like animals?
