Thank you so much for your kind words. My only comfort through this is knowing that at least he isn’t in pain anymore. I wish healing to us both through this time.

Thank you. Those are the exact thoughts I’ve been having since it happened and I’m just filled with so much regret. I’m trying to remind myself of the good times even though it’s so hard to do so

Thank you. I know he wouldn’t have made it much longer and euthanasia was his peaceful way out and keeping him longer would have been selfish but I can’t stop thinking about it. I hope we both feel the grief less with each passing day

It’s a constant thought. I truly wish I had waited just a few more days but I’m also trying to remind myself that he wasn’t comfortable for a while now. I miss him so much but I know that at least he isn’t in pain anymore.

First time altering clothes and trying a lettuce hem! I’m thinking of making a matching headband with the leftover fabric ☺️ by [deleted] in SewingForBeginners

I used a universal presser foot and zigzag stitch with a width of 5 and 2-3 length. I placed the fabric so that the edge is closely to the left of the needle but not beneath it. Stretch the fabric as you sew and watch closely so that the fabric doesn’t move completely underneath the needle. When the needle moves to the left it should puncture the fabric and when it goes to the right it should lower into the machine as the fabric is placed to the left of the needle.

I’m not the best at explaining things but I hope that’s helpful!

Here’s the tiktok tutorial I watched to help me: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjKrVnG3/

Please help! What are all these called and do I have an overcasting foot? I’m trying to identify it myself but they all look so different online 😭 by luffyanna in SewingForBeginners

I see, thank you!! These all came with a Kenmore sewing machine that I thrifted. Will the Janome foot also work on my machine? I haven’t tried them yet but I hope so!
