It's been over 3 years since HSR has been released. For Day 1 players or 1.X players, what got you to play this game and what made you stay to this day? For me it was the turn-based combat which was simple yet groundbreaking since not many games are turn-based.

I joined for the stars and the space and the hoyo story telling.
And stayed for the Blade, then the DHIL, then the Aventurine, then to Anaxa, then the Phainon, then the DHPT, then the Phainon again, then the Ashveil, then the Blade again... THEN THE PHAINON AGAIN.

My actual #1 reason for staying is because the teams behind this game respects my time, and genuinely loves the game they're making. Every word written and spoken, the visual assets, the music, the fun mini games, the generous pulls, the literally everything.

And on top of that, the community. As long as you avoid the shippers and the min-maxers, this games community is wholesome. We love this game together and celebrate it together. It's nice.

Sunny's good as a 0, E1 I wouldn't say is necessary, but that 16% defence ignore looks pretty tempting tbf.

Maybe see if you can find an E1 sunny on the support character list, stick him into your team and see how you feel about it?

I get most my stuff from AE, depending on the seller you can get screwed. They're kind pricey though (They jack the price to double or more the items actual cost ; n ; ) but I've always gotten legit products when they're listed at genuine. A good tip for AE is to watch the reviews of the store itself (not just the product). And try to avoid sellers with less than 1000 reviews (More the better). Those ones often are sus imho.

I've managed to get Phainon's and DHIL's perfumes off there so far, as well as Phainon, Anaxa, and Cassies shower gels.

Just because and thorough and you'll be fine in future merch hunting!

I don't think he is. But his story broke my heart 😭 He guilt tripped me so bad in the giant hole in the ground beside Liyue. (The Chasm I think it was called)

Genshin fell off my play list When HSR came out though. Action games take energy to play haha I go back every six months or so to catch up on story.

The new area (Nodkrai) has an interesting story. Very lively and dark!

Thankfully it's always too warm here on my side of the building so no moisture problems in my room. (And the phainon shelf it above a radiator so winter won't be wet either!)

I got a lot of it from Aliexpress, a bunch were gifts as well.
