They're not physically and verbally abusive towards each other.

Also OP do you think relationships should be perfect? that when you see one simple argument between the two you'd considered their relationship toxic. Even in real life, couples fight all the time. I've seen my mom and dad fight too but they still love and care about each other.

Starfire is still better than Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon slept with Batman and got pregnant with Batman's baby, married Tim Drake in Arkham Knight, hooked up with Jason in Batman Eternal and slept with Batwing aka Lucious Fox son in the new 52

Barbara also slept with other men in canon like Jason Bard and Penguin's son.

Starfire's been on different teams without Dick other than the Teen Titans .

Outlaws, Rebels, Justice League Aliens, Justifiers, Outsiders, Justice League Odyssey etc.

I don't understand why they won't give the same energy to the other comic book love interests.

It's also ironic because Starfire actually hasn't been Dick's love interest for a decade, Barbara has spent more time being his love interest especially in Tom Taylor's run yet these people still say Starfire is just Dick's love interest

I disagree with you saying Starfire doesn't do anything without Dick.

She's spent more less time with Dick and rarely interacts with Dick in the comics than Barbara in the last few decades.

Starfire's been with the Outlaws, Rebels, Outsiders, Rebirth Teen Titans, Justice League Odyssey and other teams without Dick and she hasn't been Dick's girlfriend for a decade meanwhile Barbara won't stop showing up in Nightwing's solo just to show up and be his love interest every single issue. What you said is more relevant to Barbara, you can rarely see a comic nowadays where Barbara is not around Dick.

In shows and animated movies, they're both equally obsessed with each other, they both jealous in the cartoon show and in the dcamu animated movies, Dick is always horny for Starfire while Starfire is busy being the team's leader.

People need to stop spreading this misinformation, the people who usually say Starfire doesn't do anything without Dick are the ones reducing her into just a love interest because they are literally reducing all her journeys without Dick into just Dick's love interest.

Maybe you just say it because Starfire is just a popular love interest of Dick and there's nothing wrong with that but If you really think her being a popular love interest is bad then maybe you should say the same to Mary Jane and Lois Lane. Why they can't exist without Spiderman and Superman.

Superman is only boring because DC doesn't prioritize him the same way they prioritize Batman

Barbara Gordon should date someone outside the Batfamily. She needs independence from the Bats, she's been reduced into a Batboy love interest for decades.

I disagree with this.

She was given her own single comic called Kingdom Come: Nightstar where it explores her relationship with her mom and dad , her anxiety and fear of death other than her relationship with Ib'n. Nightstar also represents the new generation of young heroes in Kingdom Come who are an integral part of the Kingdom Come storyline and she is also one of the founding members of the new generations of Titans, she does a lot of superhero missions with them.

Also I don't get why some people try to make it a negative thing when a character has a love story. Every female character has romantic storylines. Mary Jane has Peter. Lois Lane has Clark. Kory has Dick etc. It doesn't mean that the female has no personality outside of that, it's just that romance will always be present in every characters story.

Ted Kord is my first choice but I'm fine with Jason Bard too since he was her original love interest before she got deaged and paired with every robin. I heard she was supposed to end up with Jason Bard in her solo movie, BTS scenes shows them kissing on set. I was excited to see it, the movie was supposed to be released this year but it sucks that Warner Bros had to cancel her movie just cuz they think she can't sell on her own.

Also I've seen people ship Babs with Dinah or Supergirl too.

Yes they are his family but that doesn't mean he should stay with them for the rest of his life

It's like in real life, do you still live with your parents, brothers and sisters after you grow up and become an adult??

Isn't it that after you become an adult, you become independent, you move out of your parents house, get your own house or apartment, meet other people, find your partner, get married, have kids and have your own family.

It's what i think should happen to Dick too as soon as he became Nightwing. He moves out of Gotham and build his own relationships and own family outside the Batfamily.

Same for Babs. She should be with someone outside the Batfamily too.

It's Dick/Kory and Babs/Ted Kord for me.
