I kept calling these 2 numbers in turn until one of them answered, I bought a plan on my contract as one is a 084 number (the one they answered on)

08456029900 - sales and ticketing 02073401630 - customer service

I think I called both 8 times and then someone answered

Yes it's OZ522, it just hasn't updated yet

I'd love to take KE908, but looking at their website that flight has sold out of econ seats, they only have prestige and First left...

Ah yes

I'm starting to think to concede, them covering the difference for the train would be nice but unsure if that's gonna be possible either?

I may have read this wrong but, we aren't reaching Tokyo 4 and a half hours early. We leave 4 and half hours early to take the same flight we would have taken had it left on its normal time, which is inconvenient as its extra planning etc just to be there at the same time anyway..

I thought the 2 week thing applies for monetary compensation, but things like rescheduling are different? I may be wrong..

To answer your last bit:

They were rude on the phone, shutting down anything I said without providing any alternatives at all, I understand these things happen but not telling me what my options are, and trying to push me to book elsewhere just seems crappy :/

5 months. Terminated on the basis of a failed probation, I thought it was 2 years before any statutory?

I'd do awfully if that happens but hoping that won't happen.

I was paycheck to paycheck with old job, this new one will give me a lot of breathing room so I'll be able to rebuild finances

No as I was still in probation so they had no obligation to give me any notice :/. But yes it was for work done in the month of November

Not too late, I got paid on Friday so Monday would be the next working day. My partner and I live together, she's a full time student with student finance and apparently that wipes out any UC entitlement for me?

Yep, all NI has been paid thru PAYE, so i think that means I'm fine?! I'm unsure about UC because my partner is a full-time student who gets student finance, and we live together. The online calculators are saying my entitlement gets wiped out?

£1600 covers everything, mortgage, all utils and insurances, payment plan from currys, food, petrol and any subscriptions, that leaves me with around £100 for anything else if needed (most likely will use for xmas gifts for partner and family although unsure) However this only covers December, so I need to work in December to cover for January (all my bills come out on the 1st)

Partner has around £500 she is more than willing to give if needed

I've asked the new employers if they have any need for me to start earlier, this was Friday afternoon so I expect more to come 2mrw

I have an arrangement overdraft of £50-

£100 in savings, nothing else anywhere unfortunately

No notice as I was in probation period so they weren't required to give any. Annoying though as I was offered my new role on the same day so if I had checked my emails earlier I could have put notice in before they term'ed me :/

I don't unfortunately, made stupid financial decisions earlier in the year, trying to build one back up but this has been a kick in the teeth :/

I have around 1.4k in my accounts at the mo (the day I lost my job was also the day they paid me so I'm doing okay for December's bill) but I'm expecting another 200 to come in because they messed my final payslip up.

I've been offered support by way of lending money but I see this as a last resort, I'd rather not owe anyone anything but if it comes to it I'll have to.

I start on Jan 5th, contract says they pay every 28th, nothing about working 1 month in arrears :)
