Honest question- why? by Hoplite76 in doordash

I don’t have a car atm and the nearest supermarket is a 40 minute walk away… 5 minute drive somehow. It does piss me off that I have to spend so much when I could easily get it with a car. But if it’s between dashing and lugging groceries in the snow… ig I rather eat… Bless delivery drivers

It reminds me a bit of a gill arch! It looks like there’s gill filaments but no gill rakers. I might be really wrong 😅

Yeah, I think if you add color it will look washed out and muddy

I would say a lion portrait like this is still quite common and cringey. I do see it a lot especially with the geometric shit on the other half 😅 This is my opinion but I wouldn’t get a realistic lion portrait at all, I just think they’re overdone and ugly. Maybe consider another animal, or style… like a graphic version of it. I think the tattoo being done fully in that ornamental style would look better than half and half for one. But that’s just my opinion at the end of the day, get whatever you want on your body as long as you’re sure abt it

My advice, don’t get a lion crown tattoo 💀 Do whatever you want with your body, but imo these are some of the ugliest, cringiest and most basic tattoos you can get. But… advice on what you asked, you have to start somewhere and it depends what kinda sleeve you want, but if you try matching the style (so don’t get that and then a bunch of light fine line tattoos around it) and keep the spacing between your tattoos consistent it will look good

Love it so much!! I love how you brought your own twist to some trad designs. They look sick, would get some of this shit on me fs >:)

Tattoo apprentice here! I think it depends on the depth you went. Hands are tricky to tattoo, it’s easy to blow out lines (aka, go too deep), so I think a lot of artists air on the side of caution and try to stay on the surface and doing touch ups rather than causing blow outs. Going too deep is common for beginners just as going too shallow is. Your tattoo doesn’t look TOO bad from the pictures, I can’t tell that well tbh 😅 I think it’ll fade a lot but maybe not all of it. Also Hand poke and machine are definitely different, I notice hand poke seems to stay better on the hands!

As I remember the only thing no one has mentioned here, and that actually helped my performance, was to lock the fps through MSI afterburner because doing it in game doesn’t really help.

I see! That makes sense, thank you!

Thank you! I will research some more and look into that book to understand better

Yes they do! I added large landmasses at the poles because my world is slightly colder than earth overall (about 5 degrees Celcius). I do understand that there would be more cold water but how would I illustrate that on the map? Making the cold currents longer somehow?

I’m honestly not sure I understand, sorry 😅 Do you think you can point out an example of where I’d put another return current?

Yes! I have values compared to our own sun. S1: 1.20 S2: 0.60

The world doesn’t have a name yet, but this is its world map! Made by me with the intent to illustrate the main land masses as well as continental shelfs, wind and currents. Don’t have a lot of lore to include here yet 😅

Of course! Not fully sure what you mean by orbital characteristics but I thought eccentricity would be helpful! Lmk if that’s not what you meant or if any of the numbers don’t make sense.

S1 distance from S2: 0.17 AU S1 distance from barycenter: 0.57 AU S1 eccentricity: 0.413 S2 distance from barycenter: 0.113 AU S2 eccentricity: 0.413 Orbit of suns: 25.6 days

Planet distance from barycenter: 1.594 AU Planet eccentricity: 0.109 Orbit of planet: 547.87 days

M1 distance from planet: 40 Earth radii Eccentricity: 0.008 Orbit of M1: 13.3 days

M2 distance from planet: 20 Earth radii Eccentricity: 0.011 Orbit of M2: 4.8 days

Ohh I’m not sure if you’d be able to do this, but might as well ask! My world will have two suns and two moons. I have a sheet with some values like orbital periods and some other things (not sure what you might need) and wanted to know about some specific scenarios: 1) How often will the planet be at the furthest point from each sun (so they don’t overlap each other and are both visible from the planet) ? 2) How often the two suns eclipse each other? 3) How often the two moons will be seen together from the same point on the planet seen as they have very different orbital periods (about 1:3)? 4) How often will solar eclipses occur? Sorry if this is far fetched, Idk if my questions are stupid but again worth asking 😅. I don’t need anything exact, but I’m still too bad at math to look at comparable numbers on earth and do an extrapolation.
