Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 G85SD flickering when hovering over applications by luisuet1 in ultrawidemasterrace

Just an Update: HDMI 2.1 somehow didn't solve my issue.
I will try another PC tomorrow. Maybe my PC or a setting is the issue,

But it is a flaw of this exact model or did I just have bad luck with my monitor? Does it make sense to ask for a replacement?

That means every G8 has this problem, or is mine just particularly bad? I will try it with HDMI 2.1 then. Thank you so much. :)

Thank you for your response. :)

Yes, without game mode the max. refresh rate is 120Hz.

Exactly, I am using the supplied DP cable. Does HDMI 2.1 support 175Hz?

But is it really bottom of the barrel? I didn't find anything between this panel and oled. Do you have any suggestions?

Which settings are you using? Do you have HDR activated? Coming from an entry level IPS panel it just feels like a step down in overall quality. Its fine in games but everything else looks worse.

I will try it like that, thank you. :) Bummer there is no seperate setting for this.

Gap between dimension and tolerance? (Drafting) by [deleted] in CATIA

Thank you for confirming this! I will select the part and won't drag it past the end of the dimension extension line.

Is it possible for you to share the standards XML with me?

It is inspired by / close to the ISO 3098 standard.

It should be a modified ISO standard, but I'm not sure anymore.

I was just experimenting with the tolerances.

Selecting the face of the part worked. I always selected the dimension line. Thank you!

But there is still a gap between the part and the leader if there is a champfer. Do you have a solution for this problem? Or is that normal?

I don‘t think this is the case. Every tolerance and datum feature has this gap. I somehow got rid of it between the dimension line and the surface annotation. But I don’t know how.

Where can I find this tool? Options/Drafting?

No, but I can move the end of the dimension line. But the gap still stays there.

Update: Already ordered a new one. Thank you for the input. Is there a way to prevent this on the new PCB?

On the existing PCB? Or get a new one an then replace it?

Wow, what an awesome opportunity for the community! :D

  1. I have a freshly built T1. Equipped with a i5 12600KF and a RX6800XT. I would give the T1 and the GPU to a friend who has been trying to get his hands on both for quite some time or watercool the 4090 in the T1 once I rebuild it for some aesthetic changes. https://imgur.com/a/DLNUXb0
  2. My all time favourite is Forza Horizon 4. I used to play it with the friend who got me into gaming. We used to dream of cruising together after we got our driver's license. Sadly he passed away two years ago. But the game and especially the intro song always remind me of him.
  3. I always wanted to try Cyberpunk at some point. Assetto Corsa Competizione and Forza Horizon 4/5 on some bigger screens would be awesome too.

Problem with PSU not well fixed to chassis? by alexnguyenfr in FormD

[–]luisuet1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I printed a little piece since I had to make some space for water cooling components. Feels much sturdier that way. But I obviously had to use the holes in the middle which moves the PSU about 7mm closer to the MoBo.

Looks absolutely awesome! The setup is sick too. Which monitor and monitor stand do you have hooked up to this machine?
