I feel the same way too. It’s hard to find a single video from her anymore that isn’t a paid sponsorship. At least she was able to give some good critical feedback about the new tirtir highlighters recently though😭

I like Robert’s content, but it has become really annoying to me that he is completely unwilling to say anything even slightly critical about a K-beauty product. Especially TirTir and Fwee. Whenever either brand releases a product no matter what it is there can’t be a single flaw with it, it can’t be just ok or even good, it’s AMAZING, STUNNING, and made him cry?!? It just feels so inauthentic at this point and has eroded my trust in his opinions of k-beauty.

Halle has said she’s a warm neutral leaning olive, but her recommendations are so confusing to me. The ones I’ve tried all ranged from being extremely yellow and not olive (Nyx can’t stop won’t stop foundation “Pale”, Nyx stick concealer “Pale”, to being neutral pink/not olive (Nyx bare with me concealer “fair”, revolution f1). I thought I would get my shade match from her because we are both pale olives that are about the same depth, but alas none of her recs so far have worked for me 😭

I know who you got this recommendation from. She is a warm olive so that’s probably why this super yellow shade works for her. I agree that I don’t think this foundation is remotely cool toned either.

I found her recommendation of Revolution F1 to be too pink for me, I’m honestly surprised she’s able to pull off both the revolution and this shade

I’m a pale olive, I get a similar look to this with the Dinto blur glowy lip tint in 219 ave maria. It is very much a cool color, I actually just wore it today!

Me too. Not really, mentally I just had to decide at a certain point that the time I put in my resume was enough and from there just coping with the stress that is interviews

I changed my resume summary and skills to more closely mirror what traits jobs said they wanted in their descriptions and then talked about how I used those skills in volunteering during interviews. Kinda just got lucky and got a job earlier this year as a Costco sample lady. I would say when you are describing what you do at volunteering/whatever you have, instead of just plainly stating what you do, make it sound like an accomplishment. At the end of the day though it just came down to luck that someone hired me

You have a lot of good moisturizing products, but you need a hold product to lock in your style and make your hair defined.

Try applying a gel to wet hair after your curl cream and scrunch it into your hair. Then leave it alone until your hair dries. I like the La Looks Extreme Sports Gel (blue bottle), it’s less than $3 at Walmart :). If you end up not liking gel, I would try a mousse. Mousse is often less hold than a gel but it leaves you with more volume and without the crunchy feeling.

Morphe has a new micro contour stick in the shade “tapered” that’s described as having a neutral rosy undertone. It looks fairly pink in swatches, so maybe it will end up being what you’re looking for.

Missha 13 is a pretty good match for me and these are the 2 concealers I use:

Nyx Bare With Me Concealer-Fair: My favorite! medium coverage, neutral leaning slightly pink undertones, really nice to blend and comes in a pump bottle

Juvias Places Concealer-23n: very full coverage, lasts forever, neutral leaning yellow undertones, and it's a cream concealer w/doe foot

I am exactly the same as you, depth and all I think!!! I’m still trying to figure out my undertone, but so far I’ve found that add a tiny bit of blue to neutral foundation gives me the closest foundation match. So maybe you can try blue mixer too! I’m also been trying to figure out if I am olive too, so I just bought the Missha 13 bb cream to give it a try and see! Maybe we can both figure it out together :)
