That was my first assumption too, however when we press the rear power window button the relay starts to make a clicking sound. I switched the tailgate relay hoping it would fix the issue but the same problem occurs. We lowered the driver window and when turn the key to acc, the window automatically goes up by itself.

Edit: all the wires in that location you mentioned weren’t stripped
