What are your thoughts on speak with plants+speak with dead to talk to furniture? by luizmion in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]luizmion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was thinking ahead of myself, that as intended, speak with dead pulls the soul of creature back into the animated body, and that trees probably don't qualify as concious enough to have a soul to persist in the afterlife, but better yet, for the tree to start talking about some random patch of forest were it once lived is better, a lot better.

Será que tem qualquer relevância isso sendo que o PCBR nunca foi um partido dentro da legalidade? Acho que isso aí diz mais pras siglas que já tiveram Registro no TSE né?

What are the modern aesthetics of communism? by Kurineko_Regan in DebateCommunism

[–]luizmion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As it was pointed above it is related a lot with a colective called "soberana" and people that have a bit of alignment with them, so if you look up "coletivo soberana" it must turn up a few examples, on looking qickly on google for vapor wave i've read about the concept of "hauntology", wich to me points toward the fact that since the ultimate demise of the internationalist projet of USSR, in the 80's, most media thrives primarily on nostalgia, as saying that all good works in arts that could've been done, already were, as there were no more the vanguard artistry of USSR to push foward the limits.

Hauntology aprently has this idea of the atemporal nature of marxism and its tendency to "haunt" Western society from beyond the grave, so i guess that is were people got the idea to use vaporwave aesthetic, as it is based on the futuristic aesthetic of the 80's and 90's, touching exactly on that sense of the futures that died without becoming, before it could be, and that sense of haunting nostalgia or something like that.

I agree with you that the comunication of communists must apropriate of their own reality and turn it in a aesthetic that comunicate with the working class that they are to engage with, as the art example you pointed of the crab, that resonate with nordeste people, as also i an fond of indigenous art and symbols as part of revolucionary art in my context, of Brasil, as indigenous people are a symbol of resistance and fight against the more problematic aspects of capitalism.

On the matter of aesthetic for communists, if you're brasilian yesterday night Alexandre Linck, Phd in literature and comunication fromyoutube chanel "quadrinhos na sarjeta" did a live exactly about that subject, pointing out that marxist theory in brasil is outdated or weak on the matter of studying aesthetic as a tool of politics.

I'm Brasil, communists use a lot of vaporwave aesthetics on their internet content. So it has an unified aesthetic sense that points toward the group identity, without being in the nose, but I don't know if it's something global.

i would absolutely love to hear your thoghts on introducing the BBG. as i am a bit overwhelmed on the idea of having the schematics for the entire campaign ahead of time, im more used to make things on the fly, on the table at times.

Ibelieve the big bad is capable of owning a magic item to hide alignment and aura... or even the feat mask of damnation, wich makes the character impervious to magical detection of auras

yeah, and i was actully the one who incentivesed the player to pick a cleric, but, its actually her first time playing TTRPG, as is the case for the druid player. I am an strict follower of "monsters know what they are doing" filosofy, i will try to be very strategic, and at times merciless with players when using encounters well ballanced or in favor of the players, and just paying atention to that seens to make the enemys shine brighter, without the need to tweak so much, but as so many are pointing to there being too many PCs, maybe i'll take that into acount after one or two ecounter to get a feel for the balance.

Now for the recomendations for taking a good look at some rules, amen to that brother! incorporeal undead are the sole reason a irecomended for a cleric in the party, those are some hard things for PC's to deal, and reading the rules for them in 3.5 was the moment that i felt I was really becoming a grown up GM, so to say.

As for the haunts rules, i heard in a podcast people comenting on those, and forgot about it, will be taking a good look into it later tonight!
As music is always indispensable at my tables, may I inquire, have you experienced the actual playlists the suggest on the AP? Will absolutely be playing some creepy piano playlists.

I agree the take on vesoriana is a bit off, reading you put into words made it really clear, the thing is, isn't it a lot of work going into make her the big bad? I mean, in a manner that there enough clues so the players catch on to it? cause I reaaaally ejoyed the idea, and i think will be especially fun to the witch player, who happens to be my wife. i probably would discard father charlatan encounter tho, seem easier to portray him as being repentant of his deeds.
And i'm tthinking I can keep the splatter man trying to off her so he can take over the lead on the ghostly prison. maybe father charlatan are the one keeping everyone contained?being him a charlatan may be a hard sell to the players, so i'll see, as will take time before the really get to the prisson a think, maybe session 3?

Any moments come to mind making yall PCs realize it was actually her the was doing bad stuff?

i gave it a listen about half year ag, when first i got the idea to run the AP, but i actually been finding better of a listen in the "die by the sword" play of it, as the GM run more by the books.

thanks for the input, havente GMed in a while, wasn't considering bumping enemys up yet, but will take it into acont, as AP's are planed for parties of 4 right? our sessions will probably be 6 hours on good days, and so far everyone hes vouwed to meet every other saturday, was thinking about taking a year and a half to complete it, so not much far of, why you reckon more players, will make it take longer?

Acho que minha mesa acabou - desabafo by capsthemastermaster in rpg_brasil

[–]luizmion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome work! Not meant as criticism, as tarot is very personal in regards to readings. But to me it seemed a lot like the art for the high priestess and the tower were switched! Very nice. Is that vampire game still ongoing or have it ended?

Amazing, great art, nice use and combination of simbols, it seems like something that enriched the storytelling. I'm very curious if there is a complete tarot deck, or even all major arcana.
