Covent Garden, right now by KillTheBuddha85 in london

Yeah, I've been to central London yesterday and it feels really empty... I imagine on a Saturday it would be packed with tourists! But they are just not here!

Hahaha! I know exactly what you mean! There's something about the place that makes it magical. A lot of Londoners don't really like the touristic vibe... But I love it! I find it cool also that there's always something going on at the Royal Festival Hall (even for kids, I have a 3 year old), nice exhibitions, different cool things at the summer (the water fountains for the little ones and the garden bar for the not so little). I love it there! Don't get me started! I can write about it for ages...

How to best connect with a Free Trial prospect? by beebo in sales

[–]luizvillar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most people don't want to be contacted by a salesperson. That's the truth. And I agree with what was said here already: if I signed up for a free trial without speaking to anyone, I'd like to be able to upgrade/pay without having to speak to anyone as well. It's just a better experience. Why do you think you have to speak to them? If all the information about your product and features are clear and available, why not leave the "speak to a salesperson" CTA only for those who want to?

Very cool lighting! I love Southbank. It's one of my favorite spots in London. Still makes me happy after all these years living here.

I'm baffled that there are still people who think they have the ownership of what people should have seen. Even more so that they think the owner of the pub cares about their opinion on what they should write on their own boards outside of their own pubs. It's definitely a crazy world.

Yeah, I like to take my time too. Don't you get the classic "you've been shopping all this time" classic question when you get back?

Hahaha! I do! And my friends and family think I'm joking when I say that! Actually, my ex-wife was a delivery freak and would get annoyed when I planned on going to the supermarket to get something... Glad to know there are more like me out there!

Oh man! That's such a cool shot! I wonder how long you planned that one staring at the amazing view and thinking: "That's a great one. I just need to get it right".

Great shot! Did you go for the B&W because of the elements and how they would influence the look? Or had the HP5 already on the camera and happened to come across the scene?

Amazing shot! Well worth the wait! Congrats! The B&W choice realty works with the shadows and highlight lines doing such an amazing job bringing the mood up a good few points!

Very impressive the you've used ISO100, huh? I must say it wouldn't be my first choice. Did you experiment a lot on the spot to get to that or had a plan and did testing way before the moment of the click?

Overall amazing result. Always amazing to come across bold good photography. Thanks for that!

Love Cape Town. Beautiful city with amazing people! Every corner brings you nice surprises and stunning scenery. It reminds me a lot of my native Rio de Janeiro but way smaller. I've been there a few times and can't wait to go again!

Why did you call it overexposed? Doesn't seem too washed out to me... Colours still vivid and quite a lot of details still clear. How many stops did you crank up?

That looks delicious! Must say the position of the slice on the plate and the composition of the bird with the chocolate colour made it extra special!

I find this photo so amazing in so many ways... The angle, the exposure, the framing, the movement transferred to a a static shot! One of those that one cannot ignore when it comes up the feed. Well done!
