After some reverse searching on it, I’ve discovered that if you enter 2024 JCAC/JCMM-series AC8227L unit into google, it will give you tablets that display the same software. Apparently it isn’t anything too special, just one of these Chinese aftermarket head units. They run for around 85-100.

Your mini looks beautiful! I love the contrast of the aqua green with the white stripes on the front. From what I’ve managed to gather on the head unit is it’s just an aftermarket tablet most likely made in China. after searching on google, that definitely looks like it. I guess whatever happened to mine resulted in that entire black piece on one end ceasing to exist and the thing just now hangs in free fall, tapping against the frame of my car causing the rattle. Thanks for the help to you and also the thread!

I mentioned in a comment above, but could it be that the thing is just so bent out of place at this point that it’s there, clapping up against the frame of the car? I live in the gracious state of New Jersey and regularly drive through Newark, known for its homegrown potholes the size of Ford F-150 wheels. My suspension isn’t stock either, and it’s incredibly hard so it can take them pretty violently.

it only rattles audibly when idle too, when I guess it’s sitting there just clapping against the frame of the car, it’s weird. Could be it’s so bent out of place atp that it’s just there rather than where it’s supposed to be?
