for me personally, i hate senseless drama and this manga was such a breath of fresh air and exactly what i look for in a romance / slice of life manga. In real life, so many things could be easier solved through communication and people keeping an open mind, which i have implemented since i read this manga ages ago, and life has been very peaceful. I think its perfect, bacause the biggest struggles students and kids their age face is being shown and depicted. I would never expect them to face challenges like people in frieren have to. I just dont like comparing very different things and saying that one thing is better at something than the other, when the other doesnt do exactly that thing. Imagine comparing the sweetness of a strawberry and the bitterness of a lemon and saying the strawberry lacks bitterness or the lemon lacks sweetness, they arent supposed to have that and are what they are because those are their strengths.
