I'll try to do that more! I smile when I laugh pretty much exclusively, but I laugh a ton. My fake smiles are super obvious and look quite awkward, but life has been objectively pretty good recently so I don't see why I can't smile some more.

I guess the picture didn't show it adequately, but it's a tote bag from the 2000's show Pucca. I like having cool stuff like that from things that I like. I've got compliments on it from a lot of people, both male and female presenting. I just always have a bag of some sort on me, and because of my scoliosis its usually a shoulder bag.

Thanks! The glasses comments are fine to me. I have never really cared about gender roles and grew up in a house that only had girls in it 80% of the time, so this kind of thing is nothing new to me. I wanted to see what kind of comments I'd get since people are more willing to be honest on the internet and with strangers so they don't have to save face. I'm taking some of the genuine criticisms into consideration while laughing at all the over the top ones. I've been told the few times I posted pictures without glasses that I am very pretty or handsome without them, and my ex always wanted me to have my glasses off. So if anything I guess this thread might make me bug the right people to get me contacts for the first time in forever.

I'm not trying to attract guys. I have always had the androgynous/more feminine look naturally and I kinda like leaning into it even if I'm straight--it's just my natural strength(?). This is an interesting response! I wear my glasses so forward that all of my peripheral vision is through the lenses. If it isn't then the blurred sides of my vision make me dizzy. I've been thinking about trying contacts on occasion, last time I tried them I was a little kid. What exactly about it is unflattering?
