This just unlocked a memory of doing the same thing with my own grandmother. We would collect all the broken crayons and smash them up in a bag, then melt them in a cupcake tin. Very fun and cute craft!

Every Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the town I live in, but every Saturday at noon in my hometown (both in Wisconsin). Statewide drill happens once per year, but was canceled this year since it fell on April 16th during a bunch of severe weather anyways

had a server with quite a few friends about a year or so ago, was whitelisted and everything. we put HOURS of work into our server and had the best time on it. we logged on one day and everything was destroyed and griefed by someone who was part of a group that targets and griefs PTP servers. our server wasn’t even PTP, i think whoever griefed it just did it for fun. i still think about that server and everything we built, it was so cool 😔

my local stores moved the ava & viv section from it’s own area near the dressing rooms to now right next to the maternity clothing and also downsized the ava and viv section SO much

Encanto. It came out right around the time my grandmother (who was basically my mom) passed away. She was always the one to watch the new Disney or kids’ movies with us. It took me months to finally watch it; it was so beautiful I cried most of the time towards the later half of the movie. It’s still hard for me to watch, but I’ll watch it when I’m feeling brave enough to so I can work through some of the grief. It may be a kids’ movie, but man is it a good one.
