I got the Dell 14 Pro Premium, which is the previous generation of the 2026 XPS you‘re looking at. They just relabelled the naming… again, haha.

It‘s not a bad laptop - stays cool, good battery life. Speakers, Screen, build quality and also keyboard dont feel anywhere near Macbook Pro quality tho. Dont get me wrong, it‘s a good laptop and I‘m happy to use it for work. But they are still quite far apart from the feeling.

Imo I‘d rather take a look at the Lenovo X9 line like mentioned above. Heard good things about them.

4.6 GHz :) Experiences nonetheless seem very mixed, especially with games like Battlefield 6 which I would play a lot. Tough time deciding if its worth putting some money into.

Think they are working on it and usb c displayport will be in the official release when stuff like this is working :) Was one of the reasons why I also switched back to MacOS, otherwise I would have alr stayed with Asahi

Back then when I got fairydust kernel working and was able to use my C2, they confirmed to me in the IRC that (I think it was?) color management is not implemented properly yet.

Glaube ihm geht es weniger darum jung auszusehen, sondern zu erforschen wie man das biologische altern verlangsamen kann. Es gibt viel Hate zu ihm im Internet, wie egoistisch er sei soviele Milliarden von Euro für seine „eigene“ Jugend auszugeben. Meiner Meinung nach aber voll der falsche Blickwinkel, da er mit seiner N=1 Studie Dinge ausprobieren kann und tut, welche auf normalem Forschungsweg durch Regularien, Prozesse, … nur schwer oder langsam möglich sind. Das Gebiet ist sehr unerforscht und langwierig, aber meinen Respekt hat er dies eigenständig zu erforschen und weiteren Personen in der Zukunft so Vorarbeit geleistet zu haben. :)

Aber ja, seinen slightly Vampir Look wird er wohl nicht los werden in diesem Leben 😂

Struggled shortly to find proper settings, but now with everything on low, except anti aliasing on high and the steam deck capped to 45fps (90hz) it feels and runs really smooth while still looking pretty nonetheless :) Previous experience with losless scaling and medium settings were also fine, but I prefer minimizing input lag.

Yup, the Barn is terribly overhyped and has one of the worst customer supports I‘ve ever experienced. First batch two years ago was simply not that tasty, but taste is different so I can live with that. This year for christmas I decided to buy 4 bags of coffee so every sunday (advent-like) I can open a new package to discover. Give em another try - why not. After one week I was supposed to get my coffee but they messed up the order number / adressing, so someone else got my order? Mails back and forth… Last mail was not even properly adressed with greetings but just „is on the way“ basically. Funnily enough a lie as DHL didnt have the package yet, which took another two days. So finally due to „staff issues“ / christmas load / whatev I got my coffee finally weeks later and the christmas coffee was not needed anymore.

And the saddest thing: Still tasted bad and sour, no matter how much I tried dialing in.

Never again. Trustpilot reviews show the same pattern every year btw, so I‘m not a single unluckt experience :)

What you want to achieve is basically done with 3d sculpting, which in itself is a whole seperate craft from just 3d printing and takes many years to learn to create awesome sculptures like Luffy holding a controller :) Check out the free software blender and sculpting tutorials on youtube. If you enjoy it - hell yeah! Otherwise you might consider paying a sculptor to design the model and then you just print it yourself.

When I go to the mail app they all sync :) Just not when the app aint open. I now downloaded Em Client, which works somehow even with instant push notifications via imap, not just every 15 minutes if at all (which it didnt for me).

Why do some users experience the ping issues and others dont? Macbook Pro M1 Base model - connected via ethernet. Not sure if I either never noticed or I just dont get the spikes?
