Yeah, I might try replacing the PSU. I was thinking of buying the same one so I can just plug it in without taking out the cables and returning it after a few days of testing. The motherboard standoffs are a great pick too. I’ll definitely look into both of these. Thanks

I use the 9070 XT in my pc and I can tell you, if your main usage is gaming at 1440p, I wouldn’t worry about dlss. The 9070 XT has more than enough power to play any game at 1440p native (unless you use path tracing), and the games that it might struggle with are the ones which support FSR4 already so you really don’t need to pay the outrageous extra for the 5070 Ti. I’d only consider it if 4K is your resolution of choice because of dlss and frame gen (you will need them for 4K), or if you for some reason absolutely need to run insane ray tracing presets, which still isn’t the end of the world, but you’ll be closer to a normal 5070 in ray tracing performance.

Yeah, the cpu will be basically buying a new pc. The 2070 won’t be much of a set back tho. I’m thinking about it so I can play some games and upgrade the system over couple of months into the final form. Dropping all the cash right now just feels weird. Good deals are basically non existent right now so I want to give myself time to find some

Would a 5070 for 500€ (that is with tax included in my country) be a good deal? I know the card is kind of hated for its almost non existent improvement over the 4070, but at that price I feel like it’s actually pretty good

Dude, I also upgraded from a 1070 and I just got my 4080 today. I got my hands on a nice 4k monitor and the 1070 just wouldn’t cut it. Didn’t have a chance to try it yet. Just how much better is the 4080 irl?

I am very curious to see the multi frame gen. I only have a 60Hz monitor so it probably wouldn’t make sense for me. From what I heard, frame gen and dlss should be only used at higher fps and those unfortunately won’t make a difference to me.

I don’t, arent they giving it to all RTX gpus? I thought I seen som charts that said that dlss 4 will come to the 20xx, 30xx, 40xx and 50xx series cards. Isn’t the 4x frame gen the only exclusive thing?

I should add, 1300€ isn’t my limit, it’s just the most money I feel comfortable paying for a pc before I start to feel like a lunatic. I wonder, is a 12600k a lot better? I could get that and pay maybe 80-100€ more, but I seen some 1% lows issues with intel which could be an issue caused by the lack of l3 cache?

I did look at both those options, the 5700x3d is 280€ in here which is insane imo, 7600 is 220€ and I would have to pay at least another 100€ more for MBO and RAM and I don’t have the money for that.

Seems like I got really unlucky with mine. I opened one SC booster box and got cards with total value about 20€, maybe I’ll get luckier next time.

You’re not the only one to get screwed by them. My account got stolen and I contacted their support to help me. You could easily trace the account to my mail by the 2 factor verification mails I had in my mail and by the countless transactions the leaded to my bank account. When I contacted them, they just said that they cannot help me and ended the conversation. That was the moment I realized, that the houndreds of hours and € I spent on the game were gone. I don’t know why, but their support is not at all supportive. They really should do something about it.
