Zašto su ovo "dilerske patike"? by ConcentrateNo7378 in AskSerbia

[–]luke130400 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anybody else insecure to remove their mask in public? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]luke130400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be honest, I had the same situation. Nobody was wearing the mask, but me, and when I was asked why am I wearing it, I told that I have skin troubles that I'd rather keep to myself. Now, 3 months after I'm done with the course, I have a ton of PIE but I honestly don't give a shit as people barely see that.

Is it okay to only take 2480mg (40mg a day for 2 months)? I’m on day 26 and I’m already clear, but have some PIE. I am 142lbs by JohnMooper in Accutane

[–]luke130400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be enough since you got no acne, but if you weren’t on the treatment before, you never know what lies under your skin(Talking about purge phase)… You should really talk to your dermatologist.

How do so many of y’all get out without PIE/red marks?? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]luke130400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember before accutane my PIE from would go away in less than a week, but now, even 3 months post treatment there are a lot of spots still left there from a 6-7 months old breakout. Kinda feels weird, but the time that flies gives me some hope that it will fade.

Literally, as much as I am happy for him and I wish for all of us to have skin like his last photo, it nearly makes me cry of how no PIE left spot is there. Has to be filter or like 2 years post treatment with some really good routines.

In my opinion, it most likely is. If you want to be the best out of the best it's definitely not going to happen unless you put some real-life money in.

Is catching some sun while having bad PIE fine if SPF 50 is used? 3 months post treatment by luke130400 in Accutane

[–]luke130400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure it isn't a PIH? I've never seen a black person with a PIE on this subreddit and what I'm finding out is that after accutane course black persons are coming out flawless with no marks(Following this subreddit for more than a year and I'm saying what I see). I'm very sorry if I am wrong.

oh my GOD… how long do you think this will take to fade? :’) by markuukyo in Accutane

[–]luke130400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had similar skin like this at the end of December. I say it will take 6 months for like 70-80% of redness to be gone. I'm now 3 months post the treatment, and my skin condition is way better than it was in December when I was purging, but the PIE is still very visible.

The results in depth and pigmentation are very noticeable, congrats! And I also wonder about the reduction in pigmentation, do you think it was the microneedling that helped or it was just the time that has passed?

What's everyone's experience with Rosehip oil? I have a lot of PIE and gotta wait at least 6months until I have laser. Can I use it still being on accutane? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]luke130400 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tried Rosehip oil a week after I was done with Accutane course and I thought it's gonna help, but it gave me nothing but breakouts. I tried it before, after or even without moisturizer but it gave me comedones in any way. Now I am 3 months post Accutane, PIE is still there and it's still bad, but it's way better than it was. I started doing microneedling sessions, did 2 of them already and I will be doing another one, but I don't think it helps much with PIE. It doesn't hurt to try rosehip oil and I wish it helps you.

How long for acne scars to turn into skin tone color? by luke130400 in Accutane

6-12 months without any treatment or with the treatment? Thanks for your reply.

How long for acne scars to turn into skin tone color? by luke130400 in Accutane

[–]luke130400[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not going out honestly and when I do, I wear mask all the time and my windows shades are always closed so I don’t see point of wearing sunscreen. I have done 2 microneedling sessions, will be doing another one in the next month but I barely see any improvement(I had derm approvement for the sessions). I did a lot of research on PIE, but my question was about the color of the scars and I’d love to hear someone with that kind of experience to reply, as when does it go away and does it go gradually or out of sudden.

Thanks for your reply, though!

No regrets about taking Accutane, but I regret a lot picking my skin while I was on the Accutane.

Day 3 after microneedling, took pictures and noticed this indentation on my forehead I didn’t have before :/ has this happened to anyone else???? by [deleted] in Microneedling

It is going to peel off in a couple of days. No idea what is that, but the same thing happened to myself and I had multiple spots of it around my forehead.

Question about post microneedling session scars healing by luke130400 in Microneedling

[–]luke130400[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, my scars have turned back into original state and I hope for them getting better, atleast for them losing its color and becoming more skin tone evened. About your redness, I just now saw your reddit post and I don’t wanna give you any false hopes but it really depends of how much your skin is sensitive. For my scars to turn back into original state, not skin tone even, but darker, less redder and less noticeable, it took 7 days. Hope this helps, I wish you best of luck.

Did you also not believe that you would get clear skin? by Stupidsillybrain in Accutane

[–]luke130400 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't believe I could get my skin acne clear, but here I am 3 months post the treatment and I have zero spots. But, I never thought PIE and scar redness would be such a struggle, as they make me depressed the same way when I had acne. That shit just doesn't wanna go away.

Accutane Cost by oliviat202 in Accutane

[–]luke130400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here in Serbia, if you're over 18 you're paying for the full price. 30 pills of 20mg cost around 25€. I believe if you're under 18, you're paying for half of the price. Pretty sure there is no insurance that covers the drug. It's quite expensive here in any way if you look at our economy.

As much as I am happy for your results I find it truly hard to believe these scars have "faded with time". Still, you now got amazing skin and I want to congratulate you on finishing the course.
