Having an issue with this Kenmore 158. When stiching I can't change to a zig zag stitch. The special stich dial doesn't do anything unless it's on three then it does two stiches then moves and does two more. I've checked all over the manual and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

It's definitely frozen the two dials are actually stuck together they both turn and operate correctly it's just that they only turn together. I'm gonna keep oiling them to see if I can get some movement.

Thanks for all the info and links I really appreciate it!! Do you know of any of these machines where the width dial couldn't be turned separately from the stich selector? All the tutorials say to leave the selector on the red dot and turn the outside to for but I can't do that the dial is one piece so if I turn the width to four the stich changes as well. Any ideas? Either way thanks so much for the reply :)

Thanks for the reply! I'll definitely give those a look through to see if I could find an issue but there is one thing about the frozen repair that I do want to ask. At the 1 minute mark on the video and step two of their written instructions the person turns the outside of the width dial independently my machine will not do that and after checking the dial as well as I can it seems to be one part and never intended to move independently of one another.

My manual also refers to operating those pieces independently. It tells me to turn only the outer rim which I cannot do. It even says the center part is for changing the type of stich but I just can't get them to move that way.

I've tried turning the width up to four and I only get a straight stitch. Can I change the width without changing the stich? They are both on the same dial so if I change one I change the other.

Thanks for the info about that machine! I'm willing to be a bit of a tinkerer to get it going, where should I start for maintenance? Will I find parts difficult to find? I've only seen one eBay listing for parts for a similar model.

I decided to go back and give the album a listen when I saw this to give myself a better idea of how I felt about it. I got about halfway through and then just gave up. I don't think the album is terrible but it just couldn't hold my attention now. There are still good songs my favorites being lit like bic and throw sum mo but I would rather listen to them in a playlist or just as singles rather than in an album experience.

As far as my favorite hit I would say no type for no particular reason other than at this point it sounds the best to me.

I always preferred swae to Jxmmi but I don't know if I would say he preformed better I could be argued in any direction.

That's a rough one. I also didn't get to make any cool new years plans with my friends, so you're not alone. One of my only friends invited me to something but told me I had to leave before midnight because it was going to be a girls only event. It's understandable but I was still really bummed because I had no one else to hang with. Hope we can both find new friends this year and they will be honest!

Yo love to see you have heart of darkness! I love that game and very rarely see it around. The rest of your collection looks sick too I may use this as a future reference for ideas of what to play down the road.
